  1. I have a set of T5's with sparky's on them. Pipes are in about 98% condition. Im me if you want pics.
  2. What is the swingarm made of? Is it braced or gusseted? I have a brand new, never used +4 and am looking to get a +6
  3. In my experience, I would call Works and order what you want right over the phone. They were very knowledgeable and straight forward to talk to. If you were to buy a used set, you would have to pay for the used shocks, then more than likely have to get them rebuilt. When they build the shocks for you at Works some of the questions they ask are your weight, style of riding and how long you ride for. I bought a set of Works Dual rate w/reservoirs and I have been very happy with these, but they did set me back $800.
  4. I do a great deal of riding in areas where I need to have sparky's and have recently purchased a set of CPI silencers. I am trying to find the easiest and neatest way to have sparky's on them. I have a set of cobra sparky's but I want something a little more solid than that. Anyone have any ideas or is there a thread that addresses this problem.
  5. I'm interested in the J-arms and other front end parts. What are the condition of the mechanical parts? Also I am from Michigan, so how would you recommend payment? Thanks
  6. After talking to a gal at CPI, she mentioned that the poor mans silencers cant be re-packed if need be. You would either have to slice it open or buy a new one. The other reason that they are cheaper than the other is that the silencers are made of steel and not aluminum.
  7. Do you guys make a mx style swingarm that is gusseted or braced? If so I am interested in a +6
  8. Going along with the idea of getting a full set of CPI pipes, what is the best the way to run sparky's on this setup. I have a set of Cobras but I just don't care for the way they look. Any ideas?
  9. Thanks for the info guys. I think that I am going to have to break down and get a set of cpis. WindyJohn is right though, I like the sleeper idea. I am just debating on the chrome look or a stock flat black look like the stockers for the sleeper look. Either way I have to find some sparky's to go with them. Zillaguy--- I ride up at silver lake a lot and also the trails in Baldwin. You?
  10. I'm wondering if it would effect my power if I was to use my t5 pipes from the mid point back and cpi's from the manifold to the midpoint. Basically I want the power from the cpi's but use the silencers and the sparky's from the t5. Where I ride I need sparky's. I'm also wondering if it would bolt up the same? I'm also looking for info on the "poor mans" cpi verses the other style performance wise.
  11. I imagine that it has an updated waterpump and trans mods done to it?
  12. The drag area on Memorial Day was completely under water. People were dragging by the beach. Still was a fun time though. Looking forward to this weekend.
  13. I will be there on Monday. Do I need a voucher for mon? Either way I will be there.
  14. Thanks for the footage tshee. I thought it looked good considering the price.
  15. Badlands was a blast. Long drive after a long day of riding. I got home at 3am. it was nice to meet and ride with everyone. I loved the trails and the " rabbit hills). Very sore the next day. Ha (John) I thought you would get a kick out of this but the first hour of driving home I was driving my truck like my hidden 10 mm banshee. I was hammering the gas at every curve and stop light.
  16. 4 hrs. 36 mins. 261 miles. It's gonna be fun!
  17. Count me in. Can't wait to do some riding!
  18. Hinson has some good products. I'm looking into them myself.
  19. Interesting how it has stock pipes. Did they remove the good pipes before selling it?
  20. I'll check my schedule out. Badlands look like a great place to ride. Besides it will give me a chance to try out my new Works shocks
  21. You can count me in for all the dates. We had a lot of fun last year shredding the dunes with the group. Can't wait for warmer weather!
  22. Yes Baldwin is 1.5hrs north of Grand Rapids. They have nice groomed trails that go for about 30 miles
  23. I'm looking to ride the Baldwin trails on Friday anyone interested?
