  1. bearing retainer inverted nut, use two big nuts locked together on a bolt to make a tool. That shop you got there has to have something laying about. I think a 3/4 bolt with a 1 1/4 head or 32mm is it.
  2. Several things I noticed, the swingarm bolt and axle weren't rusted in and must have came out nice, and the frame isn't bent upwards from wheelies. That means it was a really nice find. Good luck on the build! Check with JDS Customs for the electronics relocate bracket
  3. It sure was a good time! And couldn't ask for better weather!
  4. HaHa, Thats what dually fenders are made for!
  5. I'm usually all about fixing shit, but the fact that stock carbs are a dime a dozen around here, just replace it and be done with it.
  6. Better to roll coal than a spliff! Help me out on the modern hip vernacular there Dookie!
  7. <<<<<Father of the year right hur
  8. F THAT! I just got it back from the detail shop...wheels are shining
  9. I don't have a Diesel, so I'll post a pic of my 17yo son's Duramax
  10. They look like chrome...on the tank...in the form of a cover. ANYWAY, this is as good a place to ask as any, Why are they ONE for $30 or THREE for $100? Math different out west? Good deal if you can get it, so who am I to judge.
  11. I'm going to go with a stuck TORS switch...if it has it still. Unplug boxes on top of carbs and the brain box under the left front (3 wire black box) Happened to me once, exact same thing at the dunes many years ago.
  12. Well BONUS then! LOL List what he used and gave you and mix ratio...you'll get plenty of recommendations here. I would think it best to continue using what it has in it, unless it's some oddball crap.
  13. You should find out what the previous owner used for oils. A responsible Banshee owner/seller would tell you and even give you some to take with you. I do every time I sell a 2 stroke, anyway.
  14. Another much debated topic, I personally don't bother with it.
  15. Always start a Banshee in neutral! TRY that first Pull Both plugs and kick and see if fuel sprays out, if it was full of fuel -that's hydro locking Try comp test again with both plugs out, throttle wide open, kick until needle stops climbing. Report back
  16. Toomey recommends 25/280 4th notch with their T6's and their needles. With your other mods I think 27.5 pilots would be fine. The air screw can be tuned from .5 to 2.5 turns out. But like Bansheehp said, you should have some bigger mains to try and work your way down.
  17. I've read on the Yamaha XS650 forums (they use a similar coil) That the steel bar through the center is more used as a thermal ground for heat dissipation when bolted to a clean bare frame.
  18. Search "Banshee leak down test" How to build - and how to do. ^^ that above, damn I type slow
  19. Man I did too. But I haven't laughed so much in a long while ! Banshee owners are some characters for sure! (Raptor owners too)
  20. We had a great time...Rode hard, stayed up really late, drank heavily, and still felt great. Now home and only have half of my trailer washed and am tired as fuck!
  21. Oklahoma can change a man
  22. A - You can ride and enjoy a Banshee anywhere B - There will be literally TONS of awesome, cool shit at LSOK
