  1. But a leaking o ring will allow water in the trans oil.
  2. Mine broke at the welds, you can re weld but it'll crack somewhere else. The tubing is really thin and eventually mine started to twist.
  3. Damn that looks like a great running motor. Is it a power valve motor? Sorry if its a dumb question just not familiar with the cheetah motors.
  4. I had the same experience at first. I argued with loco and a few others because they were saying the shearers didnt fit well and were low quality etc.mine were perfect when i bolted em on, Then a few months later the rivets started falling out of the silencers. Next the chrome started peeling off in a few spots and top it off with cracks starting by the mounting tabs on the head pipes on both sides. Hope your fortune is better than mine.
  5. My Acton wasn't full length like a spark plug and would read lower than my craftsman on every engine.
  6. Chickstang haha, we call them muffstains.
  7. . Which motor did u go with?
  8. I have no first hand experience with a decked cub. Been told by a few people they run great. The servals run a lot better than most people think. I was very happy with mine and 91 is hella cheap compared to race fuels.
  9. If your gona run race gas why not just go with a decked cub?
  10. I ride mainly dunes and a local river thats sandy and open. I do some trail riding but no slow moving tight turning trails. Ive ran a +2 +4 +6 and +10. I would run the +6 on anything but a drag only bike.
  11. +6
  12. I had a cover screw back out on the flywheel side and wedge against my shifter once. We pulled the clutch cover and all of before we realized what had happened so may wanna check that first.
  13. seems like the offroad community in general has not had good luck with crankshafts. several years back the raptor 660 folks were breaking hotrods cranks like crazy, dunno if the issue was ever resolved. the only banshee crank i have had was a hotrod 4 mil. it was great and i wouldnt hesitate to use another.
  14. not laughable at all imo. your first time on a track your not gona set the world on fire. bringing the 60ft time down is gona help alot. you may wana put a line of shoe polish on the sidewall of a rear tire and video tape it so you can watch the video in slow motion to see how much/far the tires are spining. my first time at a asphalt 1/4 mile track my 91 convertible mustang ran a 16.83 at 80 something, second time i went with a fogger nitrous system the same car went 14.00 at over 100 third time cracked the block lol.
  15. what were your times sprinklerman?
  16. swingarm length and rider weight make a big difference in how well a paddle works. the padla brats are a great choice if they fit your application.
  17. Anyone interested in a stock length swingarm race. Watched one a few years ago and it looked pretty fun. The rules were stock length or shorter swingarm and that was it. Anything goes as far as motor mods.
  18. You have the slides on the correct side?
  19. If you google your question, itll usually b:ring up bansheehq post with the info your looking for.
  20. If you look at the piston you can see the area the ring goes in gets wider toward the damaged area. That means the piston got hot enough for the aluminum to move. If the piston would have been cold it wouldve just cracked off. You can probably see some of the melted piston in the exhaust.
  21. Then most likely an air leak or carb problem . That piston is melted not just wore out.
  22. Looks leaned the fuck out, that would be causing it to run hot also
  23. Does anyone know what kind of gas andy used on that dyno run.
  24. Me and a friend were talking about this today. I was wondering if you could get a better torque curve out of a 10 cub or a 4 dm.
  25. . How many servals have you built or ridden?
