  1. Wider is better if you have the room. I have +3+1's and it handle's great.
  2. Nope. I didn't want to cut up my rear skid. But because of all the trouble I had last year I don't care now.
  3. I'm looking for just the front pipes. Send pics and price to 414-418-8550. Thanks.
  4. I had problems throwing my chain last year and one time I snapped it in half 40 miles into the woods. Fun tow out! So this year I want to add something to help alleviate the problem. What's the best option? This one looks nice but these kind don't seem to put my tension on the chain. I've seen one in person and felt how much tension there was. http://www.ebay.com/itm/281266165295?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I'm not sure how this one mounts up since I have never seen this kind on a bike. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&vxp=mtr&item=271418360429 I would have to cut out some of my rear skid to mount this one but I bet it would help the most out of all of them. http://www.ebay.com/itm/190879497692?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  5. I didn't watch the vid, perhaps I should of. I like the pvc idea, cheap and effective.
  6. Sears has a decent compression tester. I've had mine for years and compared to snap on and mac's and its spot on. Go to your local ACE hardware and you can build a leakdown tester. The only thing they won't have is the pressure gauge.
  7. I need another set of cylinders to replace my current set. Looking for something under 65mm either ported or un ported.
  8. I'll call you when I have some funds saved up. I'm guessing I will need $500-$700.
  9. Ok, How much am I looking at for a set of stockers ported for 60+ HP. The cylinders that are on now have damage to them. The bridge between the boost port and main port is gone. It still runs well and pulls hard but it won't last forever. I need to start searching for a good replacements that will hold up to the abuse I take out on them.
  10. How much am I looking at for a set thats ported to make 60-80HP? I would like to keep everything else on the bike the same. IE: Head, exhaust, carbs and so on.
  11. I don't know much about the aftermarket available of cylinders. I'm looking for something closer to the stock bore versus going big. How many bore sizes are available and where can you get a set? Are servals a product by cub? Like I said I'm not sure who owns what and who makes what and what its called.
  12. That 5 gallon tank they make for the banshee looks terrible. Plus it restricts your turning radius. A friend of mine put one on and he had to install a 6" handle bar riser to get any kind of turning radius. IMS makes a nice looking 4 gallon that I will end up buying down the road.
  13. I'm able to hang so far with the stock tank and the six pack rack 2.5 gallon reserve with a dune/race port on the cylinders. There is no way in hell I'm buying a 4 poke for trail riding. My 4 poke plows snow and drags shit.
  14. Is Serval a cub? Are there different bore sizes? I don't want to go to big of displacement because of the longer trail riding I do. I'm already the first guy to run out of gas running with the 4 stroke's. Who's got a good deal on a set?
  15. Not so much bore size. I don't want to have to change any other parts like the head or exhaust. I would like to keep everything else the same. One of my cylinders has a bridge missing between the boost port and main port. It ran last year with no problems like that. However I would like to have another set ready to go if and when it fails. So either I have to pull mine off and get them re-sleeved or buy another set and port them and paint them and so on. I can get another set of cylinders for around $200 plus $80 for bore on ebay. Re-sleeving will cost $350~$400 depending on what sleeves are chosen. Or I can just spend more on a nice aftermarket set thats already ported and proven.
  16. What aftermarket cylinders are a direct replacement of the stock ones?
  17. I tried the single carb setup. Didn't like it. Went to two stock carbs. Liked that way better.
  18. Found it: http://www.dfn.com/agservices/jetfaq.html
  19. Who has the best deal on V4's? Is the next pilot size 32.5?
  20. You can order the pilot jets directly from the dealer. I got the dealer parts number from a carb tuning write up on this site. If you have to rebuild the top end you might as well get the cylinders ported or buy a set already done. Big gains in porting.
  21. I found that the v force reeds on my blaster didn't last very long. They would start chipping and cracking and a set of replacements were $60. I went back to stock reeds. So I opted to go stockers on my banshee because of the previous problems with v force.
  22. Here is the link. Just curious if its worth it or not. http://www.thunderproducts.com/Banshee%20reed.htm
  23. We had a group of 10 riders two weekends ago. There were a couple of inexperienced riders. As for how much I have put into this bike. I stand my ground. I have replaced so many parts on the bike that's not listed in my sig. Wire harness, tail light, handle bars, control switch, throttle housing, carbs, two sets of cylinders, headlights, seat assembly with new foam and cover, gas tank, three sets of sprockets and chains and engine case twice and blown it up once already. The thing was a real turd when I bought it. So many things were hacked or missing. I added up my list this past spring and I had 8K then into it. I tossed the list out because I was sickened about how much it was costing. I'm in front because I know how to ride and I know how to read a map! I'm usally waiting at every intersection for the group. Only two guys were 30 seconds behind me. The others were minutes back.
