  1. All you fucks that posted in my thread about Abe are so hilarious. I'm rolling on the floor laughing at how fucking stupid every one of you nut hangers actually are. Abe you're lucky I was in the middle of build because I wouldn't have even asked your sorry ass to refund. All your posts in both of these threads just show your ignorance. Loco, it sucks that this site is going down hill, wonder why? It is funny that all these dicks get fired up when someone in their crew gets called out. OP file and get your hard earned money back..

Zilla, you obviously can't read, which doesn't surprise me at all. I have not ran it and don't plan on running it. Abe obviously is going to be a stand up and do something about it, so ill just toss this piece on the scrap pile. Not going to keep repeating myself..

Yes, I did say at first "visual" inspection it didn't seem to be. I also did not sit there and study it. With it in the carrier, no hubs on it, "visually" you can see it wobble as you spin it.

Zilla, I'm over your loud mouth. I never had reason to believe it was bent because Abe said it wasn't. I gave it a once over and put it up. Apparently no one on here believes me anyways. You all have your minds made up about the situation. You know Abe so you take his side, cool deal. Since he is your buddy it's okay for him to sell a piece of shit axle? You don't know me so automatically everything I say is BS? You guys are a joke.

Only because people think their opinion matters more than a persons word. This site as a whole takes the cake..

LSR rounout spec is anything under .015.

You know what zilla, Abe had the axle in a carrier. I never did until just recently. It is clearly noticeable in the carrier. Reason I didn't check it with the indicator then is because I trusted Abe's word that it was straight. You don't know me. So you fuck off.

If you claim it's straight then it should be checked to confirm. Usually a bent shaft is noticeable just as this one is when in the carrier. Not evading anything.

Sprinkler I'll post you a video of the noticeable bend when in the carrier. Still doesn't make a shit if I feel it or not. It was supposed to be straight, so take your sorry ass points and piss off.

I'm blown away at how many of you just can't see past the fact that it is used. Used doesn't mean bent. Plenty of used parts change hand on this site. Many of them in good working condition. Within the manufactures specs that is.

Sprinkler, you have all the answers. You obviously know nothing about measuring a shaft of any kind. Shafts are round. .030 deflection, one way equals .060 run out. Either way I'm past measurements and arguing with you about it. Maybe Abe should have said it looks straight, but don't know for sure. Instead he said it was straight. Doesn't matter if it is .002 or .030 out of spec. It's not straight.

I expect to get a part that is as described by the seller whether it is new or used. Two months later or not, it didn't get bent this bad in shipping and it sure as hell didn't get bent on the bench. I see that the thread has been moved. This site is nothing but politics. This situation would be totally different if I sold the axle to Abe.

Wow, you people seriously amaze the hell out of me. If it were any of you, you would be raising hell about it too. Deal is that it was said to be straight and it's not. Pretty sure lsr only warranties it to the original buyer. Talk all the shit you want, I still have the packaging it came on from him. It never left the bench until a couple days ago.

Tires aren't rigid like an axle. Besides everyone's opinions, the axle isn't what it was said to be.

It's .030 one way. Around .060 Total Indicator Reading. The other side is .012 Total Indicator Reading. The bends can be offset, I haven't checked yet, causing irregular bearing wear and premature bearing failure. In other words, I don't want to replace a carrier or bearings every riding season..

For the record, you never gave an option to resolve the issue. I have never asked you for a full refund either. I was willing to work with you on this, but you obviously think someone else is to blame. Your word is your word...

When I say I'm going to use it in your above post, I am referring to my bench setup for indication. What I payed is beside the point, it's principle in this situation. You said it was straight and it's not.

Sprinklerman, used or not, it was said to be straight and it's not. I sold a used crank that came out of running bike to a member here. A builder recommended against using it for a new motor, I bought it back a month or two after I sold it.

I bought an LSR axle from Abe a little over two months ago for a dune bike build. On first inspection of the axle, visually, it seemed like all was well. I didn't think much of it because Abe had claimed that it was straight. I went ahead and put it on the bench until I fished rounding up parts for the build. Fast forward to now I'm finishing up the build, put the axle in the carrier spin it and it's clearly bent. Upon further inspection with a dial indicator, the axle is defected around .030 on the left side. I pulled the axle to put it on a bench setup to indicate between the bearing races and found that was within .002 runout. I then decided to measure the right side and found that it was around .006 deflected. I contacted Abe at first sign of being bent. He wanted some evidence of my claim and I provided a video of indication. After that I asked what he wanted to do, he preceded to tell me that two months have gone by and it's my problem. Abe also seemed to think that it was bent during shipping. Both sides of the axle got bent during shipping and the middle is true? I just want Abe to make it right with me on this deal.
  20. So, how many passes on this motor?
  21. I have a 1-5 that has been on the bench for a while. No name cut it, but it shifted good. Needs a set of springs for the shift shafts.
  22. Probably minimal gains vs the chance of the skirts rattling off or having an out of balance rotating assembly. I just rebuilt a motor that the previous guy had built. The pistons were hogged out and wore out. I didn't touch the new ones. Just cleaned up the new cylinders a bit.
