So... back to the subject of tires... any recommendations?

Hey, just finishing up my build. I started this thinking that I would ice race in the winter and trail ride in the summer. Well I've decided it's going to be too pretty to trail ride so I've been thinking about trying out some dirt flat track racing. What tires do you guys run? I've been looking at the block pattern Hoosiers but have no idea what tread compound would be best. Also, is there anyone who races in south central Wisconsin?

How durable was the ceramic? Did the sand at the dunes scuff it up at all? I'll be riding mine mostly on the ice in the winter, but might trail ride in some sandy areas 1-2 times per year

I just dropped my frame off last night for powdercoat. The guy was telling me he does alot of ceramic coating on exhaust. Told me it'd only be about $200 to do my pipes. I've got SB IF Shearers, chrome is chipped in a few tiny spots. Are there any benefits to ceramic coating on the pipes? How durable is the ceramic?
