I'm looking for a straight a-arm frame to start my next build. Trying to find something shipped for under $200. Let me know what you've got. Can send pice to [email protected]
I think I'm going to skip the moose wraps. I snagged some 3/8" rubber belting from work yesterday so I'll just try that out first. This way I don't have to worry about ruining it since it's free...
funny how that works huh? Dont go getting the wrong idea, I'm not poor, just a cheap ass. I have a damn good job and own my own house...
Been keeping an eye out for a decent early 90's yota, but they're hard to come by here.
i can get thick rubber from work for free, how would u attach to keep it wrapped around the tire?
or i may jsut break down and buy a beater truck, gf jsut doesn't want some POS sitting it our driveway...
I dont have a truck to haul my banshee this winter but I live less than a half mile from a large lake. The only way to get to the lake is riding on asphault and I dont want to trash my studs. Has anyone used the Moose Racing tire wraps? Just wondering if they will survive the ride to and from the lake if I take it easy on them?

there's alot more banshee riders in wi than i had thought too. Last time i went riding just north of black river falls, I saw 5 other shee's out on the trails.
I'm just north of Madison in Lodi. Theres not too much in this area but I ride Black River Falls and up by Hurley in the summer. Going to be going out on Lake Wisconsin a lot this winter if it freezes (last year ice was too thin). I've also heard Dyracuse is pretty cool but I haven't been there yet.
Ya, fort atkinson is a lot closer. Just worried about conditions this year... It sucks swira used to do it on lake wisconsin which is where I live but they quit a few years ago I guess
I have no idea, when I bought it the guy claimed that it's 4mil and ported... I kinda think he was talking out his ass. Either that or a DIY port job maybe. It's not nearly fast enough so I'm just redoing it all the right way
Did you go with the 12 port? I think next month I'll be getting in touch with Jim so I'll have enough time to get it all set up the way I want it before we get ice.
ya, i've got piles of spare parts lying around. Just need the frame to really get started on a new build. I just don't want to tear my current bike apart yet since this is my fav time of year for trail riding, but I really want to have something nice setup before we get ice.
Well if $$ is all it takes, give me a season or 2 and I'll probably be right up there with him just got my dream job in Jan and bought my current shee (i made the worst decision of my life and got rid of my first one 8 yrs ago).
Do you guys know of anyone who might have an extra frame lying around that they'd like to sell? It'd be cool to have a roller rdy to drop my new motor into once I get it built instead of using my beat up old frame.
Looking for a frame to start a new build. It doesn't have to be clean as I will be bead blasting and PCing it. My only requirement it that it's straight and no j arms.
Let me know what you've got.
I plan on building myself. Just looking for someone to do porting and cut domes for me. My girlfriend doesn't know it yet, but I'm planning on building my next banshee in the basement. I'll just wait to put arms and axle on until I carry it up to the garage
