  1. Yes it gets out of hand at times! Kinda wish id of went with an 8"
  2. There are a ton of variables. Rider weight, power of bike, type of riding.. I ran a +4 on a 71hp bike and it worked great on trail, play dragging, and decent on hills. On my 10cub witch makes 100+hp i run a +6. Its still decent on trail, but could used a longer arm for hills. Just depends on want you want to do
  3. This will be my last post in this thread. CALL CAMERON AT REDLINE! I have his 10cub set up! Trust me! All I do is climb the steepest hills around! This cub has a ton of power and tq EVERYWHERE!! And when i say everywhere, i mean FUCKING EVERYWHERE! The motor makes 111hp and 59tq.
  4. Sounds like a lean condition from the needle! Pull the needles and lower the clip two positions! If your needle is already there do some research and find a richer needle
  5. REDLINE 10cub! Done deal! Youll never look back
  6. cpis are great pipes!! i had them on a redline ported cub. it was dynoed with the shearers and cpis. the shearers made (if i remeber correctly) 1-1/2 hp over the cpi's and had a bit more over rev,BUT, the cpi's pulled more hp and tq all the way up the front side curve until almost 9k. in my opinion id take a broader curve any day vs a couple hp gain up top! now on my 10cub the shearers made 10hp over the cpis and more or less had the same curve down low as th cpi's.. every motor will like a certain pipe better then others
  7. If you just want a decent cheap bearing i know i used moose in the past.. It is what my local yamaha dealer carries for replacement bearings. I only had a handful of rides in them before i upgraded to a billet carrier so i cant say how long they last
  8. Both!! I actually never saw aftermarket pipes with those brackets even on!
  9. its not that there are no good.. but a 10mil will produce WAY more tq at a much lower rpm! it makes the bike really enjoyable to ride at any rpm range! I ran a 4mil sc motor a while, then a 4mil cub for a while. now have a 10cub. its hard to comprehend how much of a difference in bottom end grunt is produced between a 4 to 10! do it once and be done with it! 10mil or bigger!!
  10. You can spend 4k... Then 10cub all the way! Call redline! He will give you a kick ass set up for around that price range!
  11. There has been alot of these threads started lately and ill tell you what i tell everyone...10mil whatever!! A sweet dune bike would be a 10cub,sb shearers,pwk39's,ect.. Give redline a call for all your needs! Done said enough!
  12. I run asr arms. The people at asr are super helpful and very nice to deal with. You can get either hiems or ball joints in the kit if you order thro them! They will also give you the ebay pricing! The arms are very high quality for the pricing! Not to mention their hiems are a much, MUCH beefier design then most!!
  13. This is an often misconception.. They were some bikes that came through in 2006-1/2 that were these monsters yous are speaking of
  14. Pm on 10paddle extremes
  15. 10mil FTW!!
  16. I truly hope this ride is 1/2 as awesome as i hope for!! Im so exited to give the sand a whirl!
  17. My one motor i ran 360's. but it was a 4mil with t5's. id run it with the 360's just to see where your at before messing with the jetting. Ya never know, maybe its spot on?
  18. well I don't know all the facts here, actually none of them. so I guess I should of just kept my mouth shut! but all I was trying to say is if there is/was a problem people should speak up! the top builders did not get were there are now by building motors and having their customers blow smoke up their ass when in actuality the motor was a turd! they got to were they are now simply because of honest feedback from their costumers, whether good or bad! there are too many people on this site, and in this world that jump on the bandwagon whether good or bad! it makes me laugh all the time when a thread is posted asking for advise on a builder, or whatever. i wonder how many people actually are recommending them/this or not recommending them/this based off of personal experience? or are they just going off of what all the 'cool' kids are saying??
  19. micro sprint cars run on alky. and they go around a 1/4 mile track 50 fucking time at a pop
  20. ieieie! fucking people! I have to agree here with Jessum on this one! why not speak up when you clearly have a problem with something that was "professional" built? and if people are having a specific problem with a certain builder, why not bring it to everyones attention? at the end of the day, a true builder will take all of the criticism, or shit talk and turn it around and learn from it! go back to the drawing board and figure out what went/is wrong with it and try and improve/learn from it. jmo
  21. Yes, go for a ride, give it hell and try to upshift! If you can upshift without the clutch and under wot.. Then id say you have an override
  22. Unless your a true fabricator and have the proper tools to perform the transformation yourself, you will have an ass load of cash rapped up in the conversion! And probably a disaster of a finish product! My best advise is keep your banshee and upgrade the suspension, aarams, axle, and swinger! Im not a mx rider or even an aggressive trail rider by any means, but a properly set up banshee will handle rather well IMO!
  23. just want to let everyone know that I had a great transaction with stevedu2! all parts I bought came in a nice box and were all neatly packaged! the parts also arrived is lighting speed, and were all in great condition!! id have zero problem doing business with this guy again! A+++!!
