  9. Those look badass! I think I need some!
  10. Yeah, havent done much trail ridin/mountain ridin the last couple years. I can't wait for Memorial Weekend in the dunes! Havent decided if we are going the week before, or the week after! Gotta get my banshee back together!
  11. Emmett or Murphy are really the only decent places to ride this time of year, that I've ridden at anyways. I dont have a dirtbike anymore, and I don't ride the banshee in the dirt, only ever been in the sand. Im lookin at gettin another dirt bike, just haven't yet, instead putting the money towards building the banshee.
  12. Yeah when I registered my RM250 just for the regular ORV sticker, I took the bill of sale in, didn't have a title. Im not positive if there is anything else required to ride in the dunes, but I wouldn't think so. I've never heard anything about special permits or anything like that.
  13. Im actually not sure, I have a "forever plate" from when I lived in Arizona, and have never bothered registering it here in Idaho. Never been hassled by the po-po. Just don't give them a reason to bother you and they leave you alone. Usually I end up over at the Store where the cops are all camped at and bullshit with them, last time they gave us a BUNCH of firewood, we were talkin about headin into Rexburg for food and wood, and they said "fuck that, you see that stack over there? Take as much as you need" It was pretty bad ass. Never had any problems with them, just DON'T have any GLASS Containers, big ass fine if you are found with them. Anyways, I think my buddies just have a ORV sticker, and one has a plate, but I believe thats so he can ride on County roads AND off road. I know you can just go into Snake River and Register/re-register bikes there. Or go to the DMV, but they are always packed. I'm sure they can give you a more definitive answer.
  14. I grew up at Glamis, got used to riding in the "cold" months, then moved here and it's the opposite! Kinda lame, but have gotten used to it. Ive gone before Memorial day before, first couple weeks of May, and there were A LOT of snow drifts, I'd be ridin along, point the front end towards a dune to go up, and would go IN to the dune because snow drifts were covered by sand, so they looked like all the other dunes, it was a real pain in the ass, about went over the handlebars a few times. So my buddies and I just decided to mark Memorial day as the beginning of the dune season. I haven't heard anything about the elk migration there, to be honest, never even seen any elk there, seen a few deer and a couple of moose though.
  15. Kuna, Love St Anthony! Can't wait til Memorial Weekend!
  16. got my seat cover today, all I can say is, FUCKIN AMAZING WORK! Top quality for sure! Thank you very much Jeff! Will post pics once I get it installed!
  17. Damn, if you were closer, I would pick that up in a heartbeat! That is a great lookin bike!
  18. Here's the link http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-MOOSE-RACING-2-ARMS-1990-2006-YAMAHA-BANSHEE-YFZ350-/330679262760?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4cfe051e28 Too bad its an auction and not a BUY IT NOW, otherwise I'd say go for it, cuz the price is gonna go way up in the next ~3 days.
  19. Haven't been able to do a whole lot with the build the last couple of weeks, changed positions at work, so now I work a different schedule and its messing with my Banshee time! Did some polishing over the weekend. Got bored the other day, and took a pic of a lot of the stuff that need to be put on. Cut up the frame some more, shaving off unnessecary tabs/brackets and shit. Turned my TORS box holder into my new CDI/12v bracket to move the electronics up front. Here is a couple pics of my cousins Banshee's, the Purple and green on is his, the purple and yellow one is his Wife's, the red one is the same bike after a 2nd frame up build he did on it.
  20. Link?
  21. No worries! Even found a pre-cut set on ebay... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-J-arm-A-arm-conversion-kit-/380315153983?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item588c8cb63f
  22. It can be done, just some cutting/welding involved.
  23. gotcha, thanks. I didn't realize the balljoints were not replaceable in the stock arms...
  24. Could you please explain this to me? Why are they junk after you powdercoat them?
