  4. shee's got a full tank of gas.yeah it wasnt my intention to run it in winter anyways.just wanted to get it prepped for summer,its a long time from now but who wants to waste riding time. im convinced it is the jets as well,when i had the top end off the top of the pistons were dry and so was the spark plugs
  5. i have a k&n with precharger. i ordered 270's with 30 pilot,hope the pilot isnt too big last nite i fired it up and i had to keep choking it to keep it running so that points out to the jet problems

  8. i was doing some reading last nite after i made this thread and it sounds like my main jets are just too small. fmf gnarly pipes with powercore2,cylinders bored .50mm, stock crank stock carbs boysen rad valves. ive tryed 230 mains with the needles on the middle clip.after i did the clean up port on the intakes the mofo is snappy but like i said at times it wants to die thats even before i did the clean up job. so it could only be jets too small or losing spark guess i should mention im 15,000 ft above sea level
  9. this was happening sence i had the banshee.it would act like it had no throttle responce so i changed my jets to 220's then 230's still the same it would do it for a split second then sputter at times even backfire

  13. not to go off topic on you guys.but my vin was sand blasted off when the seller painted the frame.does this mean i have a stolen bike?i did the vin check online with the number thats on the BOS and its clean.should i stamp the numbers on the frame?

  15. i bidded 800 and people wouldnt stop bidding so in the end i had to pay 854 so thanks to all the other people i had to pay a high price. i highly doubt i CANT use the top case half,that would be stupid thinking if CANT use it when you CAN buy seperate case halves.if i cant then ill pull out the dremel and hack it myself to fit the bigger sleeves.but besides all the bs and high price i cant wait to get it all together

  17. yes it is set up for a stock stroke crank. what about a hot rods crank or somthing.double shipping isnt worth sending anything to a site sponcer for me
  18. i know this is a old thread but i just won a superior sleeve jug off ebay and was wondering if my stock crank will handle it id imagine not lol
  19. im just doing a clean up job for better air flow.im not going to screw around with the port timings. i did my polaris 580 tripple and the thing is a screemer and my boss has one done by so called pro's and yet he is impressed with the way my machine rips
  20. well im far from done but seeing how i had the jugs off and i was bored i figured i would do a little work on the jugs well jug in this case.then i had to go back to work so im to tired to finish it,good thing i have all winter eh.

  23. lol i just got done doing a compression test and the results made me giggle. right cylinder is @100 psi and the left didnt make it past 40psi.about to take the top off to see if theres any damage
  24. because the shipping would kill me.it would be better if i get somthing that includes everything i need insted of buying it from different states then the waiting time on top of that
  25. i cant afford both at the moment but was planing on getting one of those BBK off ebay for $770.and port and polish it myself maybe get the bbk and wait till i blow the bottom end up then get a 4mil?lol
