The way it was explained to me is: A long rod will not necessairly give you any more power definetly wont give you any more cc. , but it will increase the longevity of your motor because the rod angle is decreased which equals less wear and tear on you crank and pistons. Made since to me....

What kind of a top end kit can you get for a $100? and if it is a good one where can i get em?

I would have to second Jim at Passion. I came across a deal on one of his 12 port kits. The builder i am using said it was kinda hard for him to compliment port work since he does it himself, but he said it looked real good. Definetly Port, and like someone said if you have the cash go with a 4mil stroker. you should be able to get a port job and a 4mil set up for around a grand.

I just had Holyman do 3 kickers here awhile back and for the price he charges members it is not even worth messing with yourself in my opinion. He even makes them look good before he sends em back. Thanks again holyman While you are at it you might as well get a set of a arm bearings.

WOW!!!! you are lucky you are an HQ memeber and can ask questions like this before you ruin your motor. You absolutly dont want any thing in there that isnt connected to the crank. Unless you are assembling it for the first time and everything is dry a very small amount of automatic tranny fluid for the bearings is exceptable Get that crap outta there before you put it back together.

I know what you mean it has happend for me a few times. I had the flywheel doen the same time you did all those kickers for me and sold me a couple sets of a arm bearings. My engine is sent out right now with the flywheel. The builder is the one that actually told me i would be better off with a stock flywheel given my weight and engine set up. I will get with him and see what i can do. Later.

Hey not to but in on a post but i thik i am going to also trade my lightened flywheel for a good stock one. Boonman just did it not to long ago and i have never ran it as of yet. I am hearing that a stock flywheel will be better for my weight.

I thought i wanted some of those A-arms but you guys have me thinking twice about ordering them. I dont like to be told one thing and it end up being something diffrent. If it takes two months tell me it is going to take two months. So how do they compare. I was liking the looks of those black +2+1 quicksands, but i dont want to get dicked around.

Is getting parted out yet? It is always easier to ship pices rather than a whole bike also. That opens up alot more buyers. Let me know about the A-arms and the swinger. thanks Joe
