  1. That sounded nice.. so you have a shop or? What other pipes would do besides the Fattys? V-Force 3 reeds, are these the best ones, i have gotten recommendations for Boyesen reeds too?? On the cool head, what size domes? 4 mill crank, wich? Vito's Super Stock pistons (simulates porting, only costs $200 US) Stock carbs with 32.5 pilots and 300 mains Whats the total cost of a package deal? with pipes and all..?
  2. Yeah i guess money is always an issue... But i will go through with this and build it to last and to get an extra UMPH! :-) This month i will look for pipes, as i said earlier i had a pair of T6´s from Finland that i was thinking about buying, but as it turns out, i will set for either a pair of Pro circuit or a pair of T5´s due to the fact i dont want to have to buy new pipes again due to the fact the engine turned out more powerful then i first expected. I will order timingplate and reeds this month and filter with outerware. If i get a good deal on pipes i will go for that too.. next month i will get some porting and milling done by a local shop that are experts on dragracing machines (cars and motorcyces) They will get them done and also clean up the entire engine too. How much should i get it ported and milled? Mill 030"? anyone with pics and measures? Trails and track specs. I will also order me some tranny parts and pistons. Following month i will get new carbs and some other shit.. I want to spend some money on it, and i want to have a fun and reliable shee to run.
  3. Ohh. okay, maybe 80+ Horses or so was a bit over the top then. But how much power do you think i would get out of the above stated then? spending a grand or so is not a problem, as long as i dont have to spend it all right away :-) LOL I guess what will happen is i spend some buchs every month until winter is over and then fire a tuned up engine for spring. At least that was the plan... But as i have read in here, its easy to spend money on a shee.. there seems to be lots and lots of things you could spend money on :-) LOL
  4. Thats a good reply, Thank you! I am building a track and trails motor, i want a broad band of pull.. I want to add some horses but not spend a fortune. 80 - 90+? I hav luckily not bought the T6´s yet so this was good i got the asnwer before i did. What do you recommend? T5´s, FMF fattys, Pro circuit? ???? Alos what size carbs do you recommend? What cool heads? Domes etc?
  5. Hello, I want to have your help building my engine up, and also i think this might come in handy for all newcomers that like me want to spank the baby up a few horses LOL I want to prioritize the steps needed to get more and more horses out of the stable. What i have gotten out of this forum since i joined is the following steps that i will do now during this winter, and i need you guys to fill in the rest.. Thanks! :-) First i will install a set om Toomey T6 pipes and a open filter with outerware. I will use the DIY timing plate mod +4 I will install stage 2 reeds I will do some porting Mill out 030" What should be my next step? Pistons, Carbs...?
  6. And with open filter, and modified timing plate? Thanks for the answer anyway :-)
  7. He´s been riding quads for years so i figured he knew what he was doing, but as it turns out he doesnt know jackshit about two strokles.. just 4-chokes LOL
  8. Can you please help me out with the best set up for my ride. It´s all stock and I live aproxx 300Feet above sea level and the standard temp here now is around 55 degrees Farenheit. (getting colder) I do most riding in the woods and trails and also occacionaly some street riding.. Not streetlegal though ;-) schhhh... LOL I will be hitting her up with some T6 later this fall , but as for now i want her to have the best possible set up for my temp and altitude. Thankful for help!
  9. Now this might sound stupid but, what if you have put a 30 oil in the engine and the clutch has started slipping ,what to do? I now that you need to change the oil, but before you put new ATF Type F in it, something else? Reason i´m asking is cus i told my brother to change oil for me whe i was out of town, he did and when we got back we spended tow hours or so playing around in the forest.. i noticed yesterday that its starting to slip in the clutch... Please, help..anyone..
  10. Guess it turned out funny... LOL ( i will in the future try to look at when the thread been posted) LOL
  11. That would look badass, pics when ur done :-)
  12. Okay as for themes i have four different themes i am thinking about.. one is close at hand because i work with it.. I ´ll do a poll and see what you guys think...
  13. Hello folks, I will be starting to tear this baby apart soon, since the winter is coming and it too damn cold to ride. I will go for a theme but i dont want to share it with you guys just yet As for colors i will be painting the frame and all other parts, put a little chrome bits in the mix and also do some welding... I am going to hook up with Vegas Jeff for a seat cover for this project to, great work Jeff! You blew me away with some of your designs. I will also look into what ever you guys have for spares that you want removed from your hands, but that will all be later during winter.. first i am going ot take it all apart for painting. This is how it looks today, its a stock 2003 model. If you have any input on the build, please feel free to write me or post below. I will make sure to keep you updated with pics as soon as i start tearing into it. Also if you have input on how to set it up for a little extra UMpfh.. please let me know :-) Pipes is priority one for me as soon as i come to that bit. Okay, enough for now..
  14. No wire going from the clutch.. or no controls for a parkingbrake there either.. But thanks for the help on the TORS. I will start a new thread on this shee due to the fact i will be starting to dissasembly it soon for a complete rebuild. Thanks!
  15. Oh, fuck ididnt realize that it was that old, it turned up in the new section so... Sorry! I am a newbiee here and just want to be a part of this forum without any disrespect from people who dont like newbiees.. I will keep my Shee for a while and do a complete rebuild with mods done both to engine and chassis, platsics and more.. so i need the expert advices you could give me on this matter. So please dont refer to me as a stupid newbiee, i dont like that at all. I might be a newbiee now, but in a couple of months i might blow you away with my mods ( i said i might ;-)) Have a good day folks! I know i will...
  16. I stand behind you, i got upset when i read that a total newbie is and idiot for asking questions..? Excuse me, but WTF? I am new here, and new to Banshees in general, i use this forum to get info on my beloved Banshee. I welcome experienced riders that know have to ge a little extra kick out of the machine and how to maintain etc. I used to be a Swedish pro freestyle BMX rider and have hanged around many forums back in the day and seen their transformation too. For fuck sake, respect each other and use this forum to get in touch with new people with the same interest as you, and also to get the proper knowledge of an more experienced rider. I welcome all with more info on the Shee than me to add me as a friend here. I am glad that you are still around and giving us advice! I know for sure i need it! :-) Thank you!
  17. Now i have the proper answers (and identification on paper) The VIN was wrong, we checked it with a bluelight and its supposed to be JY43GG0003250314 with engine number 3GG-249813 so i got a few 8´s mixed up where its supposed to be threes.. The 5SKLYFZ350 was produced in end of 2002 and sold in store 2003 in feb. the engine matches the frame so its all original. I want to thank you all for your help, much appriciated. Any pointers on how to get it to runn a bit faster and handle a bit better without spending a fortune? what should be the first to do? Please write them down in steps.. first step first and so on.. Thank you!
  18. I couldnt get a proper image since it was to dark yesterday, but i will get it done today. I have also called our local Yamaha center and given him the VIN and engine code and i am waiting for his reply on it. Since the Banshee is made for Swedish market i guess the coding is different than what you guys have in the states.. I have checked and when it comes to cars it´s like that. I know for a fact that the platsic has never been changed on it so its all original. No rev limiter and no parkingbrake on it either.. Its not roadlegal either. I will await the aswer from the local Yammi dealer and then i will post the aswrr later. But thank you all for your help. I am glad i joined you guys, since you all are sitting on important knowledge of the Shees.. Thank you and god bless the two strokes! :-)
  19. Okay? Anyone else opinion? BTW, where did you get your front bar? what brand is it? cool with that iron cross look...
