  1. Ok different bike, almost same situation though.
  2. Ha wait was this guy in smithville? I looked at the same bike before i bought mine. I didnt walk away i ran!!!
  3. Yup, check choke tube. Clean carbs, check spark plug boots, new plugs. Put needle on middle clip, air screw is out way too far go 1 turn out or something like that maybe even .5 turn out. If u still have trouble u should check for air leak
  4. Should of went with a site sponsor for the porting, and yes have ur crank trued and welded. Also think about a billet water impeller, and shift shaft mod! Call up a site sponsor they will hook u up! Dune ported stock stroke set up right, from what i have been seeing is somewhere in the 55 60 hp range
  5. i agree with kev... why buy t5s when hes just going to want shearers or cpis later... run the pc and send your cylinders off for a dune port. Then when you have some extra cash go with shearer or cpi whichever you want. i have t5s now and im wanting shearer or cpi.

    pingal

Yup mine started this got jeff at fast sending me a dual pingel.
  7. Cut the threads off the plug and look at the base ur looking at the ring. Most say u want the width of a dime and a brown color. Also dont sweat it ive learned alot in a short period of time from this website and clymers manual will also help. Just read read!! Also on the plastics look up laker plastics, they are about the best price wise. I got my plastics off a website i think kbmotorsports.com or something like that, think i paid 450.00
  8. I say wack those rear fenders. They look like my old plastics when i bought my shee. Do ur self a favor go down to ur local auto parts store or whatever and get some ngk br8es plugs. Put ur spark plug wrench in ur pocket with 2 new plugs, get on the bike warm it up. Throw in ur new plugs, and do a wot run threw all gears cut it off in 6th gear and hold in clutch. Pull ur new plugs and put ur old ones back in, ride home and chop those new plugs. Post pics on what the plugs look like and me or anyone on this site will help u.
  9. Do u have stock carbs ? Whats ur reason in buying a billet intake? I think its a waste unless going with bigger carbs. Now if ur upgrading carbs, and want to keep stock airbox they do make bigger rubber adaptors, but i think you have to run upp intake boots. Call a site sponsor they will get u all set up. But like i said if ur not upgrading carbs why spend the money on a billet intake?
  10. i top mine off before i go on a ride , and it always leaks a little when warming up..
  11. Looks a touch rich, but id leave it. As long as its pulling good
  12. if anyone has ever done business with tim they know his products are top notch! anything he builds is worth the wait. I love my swing arm and will be needing a arms soon to replace my shitty fullflights!
  13. not sure what im putting out hp wise, i just put on a set of 35 pwks today. but with stock carbs and jeff's dune port i noticed a big differance! shifts like butter and even gets the front tires off the ground in the sand, even with the +4 swinger.
  14. Jeff does it again! I called him up on the 20th or 21st cant remember and ordered a billet intake , throttle cable, pods , and jets for my 35pwk airstrickers ..... on the 22nd ups man was knocking on my door!!!
  15. Ok got them on i ended up using a little yamabond on the boots now for a leakdown test
  16. Ok but i should still do the intake boot right?
  17. Just do a leakdown, sync carbs, do compression check, do a plug chop. Then ride it like u stole it!!!!! Save ur money then when its time for a rebuild contact a site sponsor
  18. New billet intake, installing 35 airstrikers. Im going to yamabond the boots, should i put some on the gasket side?
  19. carbs sold to moto ! thanks will get these shipped tomorrow. intake and pods still for sale.
