  1. Cdi mounting threads. And coil threads . Clean em out good
  2. Test your compression will let you know what kind of fuel you need to run. Ive always heard the spacer 4 mill was the ghetto way of doing things. But if your happy with the way it runs, i say ride it like you stole it. Save some coin while its running, then hit up a site sponsor when you ready for a rebuild. But this time do it right. I have t5s,But if ur doing 99% sand i say cpi or some of the other higher end drag inframes
  3. Buy a clymer. They are cheap and will tell u pretty much everything u need to know.
  4. turned out to be a spark issue ... threads had powdercoat in them .. wasnt getting a good ground , jeff got her all good to go... she rips now
  5. F.a.s.t is closed today, but I may run my bike up to Jeff if I can't figure this thing out. I'm getting weird readings on my plug chops. Also after I kill my bike at wot to pull the plug I'll install new plug to make it back to my truck. Bike always stalls after that. Will shut off, can't get it to kick over so on. I'll take it home clean the carbs and it fires right back up. Anyway this plug chop was with 27.5 p needle on middle clip and 340 mains ...........got a weird reading . So I three in 320s and dropped the needle one slot from the middle (richer) .....
  6. needing newer style engine cases... let me know what you got
  7. pictures of cases please.. [email protected].. looking to build a spare motor for my bike 4 mill cub. just wanna see how bad the pry marks are.
  8. im running noss head i like it.
  9. ok thanks for the info!
  10. ok are all year cases to the same? mines an 03 didnt know if they changed anything over the years in case design?
  11. thinking about buying a set of cases and slowly building a 4 mill cub... should i buy cases and just piece it all together ? or should i buy a complete motor? crank and cylinders are going to be replaced anyway figured it might just be cheaper to buy cases and build up?
  12. I've got a stock one just pulled off my bike even has the lock bolt. Just throw it on your bike and go. Can ship Tom if u want let me know
  13. my motor in my sig has really good mid to top power.. just do a stoke stroke with an (aggressive dune port) .. everyone will tell you different sponsors to go with, so do what i did call around and check pricing and figure out who you like. never heard one bad thing about jeff at fast (built my motor) .... or kevin at hjr... and if you are thinking stoke stroke isnt going to be enough do the 4mill from the start, because once you port for stoke stroke you cant switch to 4mill... you will need new cylinders to port for 4 mill..... my 2 cents...
  14. let hit it up then.. ..... sometime after the holiday we should ride im down! as long as its not in the neg
  15. not trying to argue.. when i built my stoke stroke i was only going to spend 1500.00, my crank wouldnt true up , that added 350.00 for a stoke stroke crank.... my clutch basket was shit another 100.00 or so.. just saying... now if he did a port which is what? 350.00 normally maybe cheaper depending on what he gets, new top end 250 with hone and bore? we are at 600.00 then you have taxes and other shit. and this is with no labor, assuming he does the assemble and tear down of his motor.. so yeah he might be able to pull it off if he does his own labor. I was just giving my 2cents on his post thats all... if it was me id save my 1000.00 and keep saving , do it right the first time. But he may be able to find some used parts to help him out.. donno dont care his motor , his post ... was just giving my 2cents.. lata
  16. if your not doing all the work yourself.. 1000 will not get you much.. what if he cracks the case and his crank is shit? thats 350 to 400 right there... clutch basket looks bad there something... it all adds up is all im saying..
  17. my bad figured out how to reduce size.
  18. if its time for a rebuild call one of the site sponsors and talk to them they will better tell your pricing and stuff .. i went with jeff at fast but if heard great things about hjr also... just call around and see which one you like.. i think wildcard was on the cheap side also... if i was you id just get a new top end and port job thats going to put you at the 1000.00 ... you will just have to find a used coolhead or shave the stoke one..
  19. id say if your working with a budget and all is well with everything else on the bike... check your compression... if its all good id say save the 1000.00 and ride the shit out of your bike ........Then put money aside while its running and when you have enough coin call one of the site sponsors and get them to build you a motor.. cause 1000 bucks wont get you much..... Now i have a decked out stock stroke with every goodie you can pretty much put in it and i have about 2600.00 in a stoke stroke...
  20. Doesn't seem much lighter. Looks solid as hell though. Just don't over tighten the pinch nut like me and break the alen head (shit). I may try to drill and tap it or just call Monday and tell them it was cross threaded lol.
  21. i agree i bought the fullflights only cause i got a great deal on them, also fullflights are powdercoated. fullflights have way too much adjustment on them and are a pain in the ass to setup... i bought a swing arm from stellar and its sick, If it was me id go with stellar a arms. Ill be hitting him up for a set soon as i get tired of these fullflight junk
  22. just put the swinger on, then do the rest. Makes things a lot easier to work with... once you have carrier in then do your axle.. so on...
  23. wtf !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where was this before i ordered mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ????????? o well thats how it goes... im still happy with mine..
