  1. So I will have to pound it out? It makes me wonder if anything will get damaged doing the swap.
  2. Thanks for the info. If I upgrade the rad, it will be with a US made product, not a Chinese knock off.
  3. Plus it keeps the Chinese workers employed, can't complain about that!
  4. I will be installing a G Force Rear Axle (+2). Is there anything important to note if you have done this before? Is there any stock hardware that may get destroyed in the process of transfer that I need to buy in advance? Thanks,
  5. Is the stock radiator good for a Banshee with basic bolt-ons? Im operating in a desert (high temp) environment. Thanks, Tim
  6. Thats actually a very good increase in speed for relatively little in terms of mods: At higher speeds aerodynamic forces become important, increasing as the square of the airspeed. A flat plate of one square foot area and perpendicular to the relative wind will produce drag force of zero at zero miles per hour, 33 pounds at 100 mph, 133 pounds at 200 mph and 299 pounds at 300 mph. The corresponding horsepower required to overcome the aerodynamic drag is zero, 9 hp at 100 mph, 71 hp at 200 mph, and 239 hp at 300 mph. A drag racer may have drag equivalent to a flat plate 12 feet in area and acting several feet above the ground, requiring 2,868 hp to overcome the aerodynamic drag at 300 mph. Going faster is expensive, how fast do you want to go?
  7. 1: get your crazy brother to put on a helmet, or: 2: Buy a big old life insurance policy on him naming yourself the beneficiary.
  8. I let off the throttle when I see Elvis. It scares me in a good way. Ive had 170 HP street motorcycles, and I get the same rush from my stock Banshee, I can't wait until I get my first rounds of mods installed! Enjoy and respect the power!
  9. I think if you get rid of the expansion chambers, and use regular, constant size exhaust tubing, you will build more boost sooner. I think The expansion chambers are reducing exhaust pressure. Im no expert, just my .02Cents.
  10. Which Rox risers? Thanks again, Tim
  11. Cool.... Thanks for the info! How do you like them?
  12. Im thinking about upgrading to the Flex Handlebars. I have some questions: What size bars that are about the same location as the stock Banshee Bars, Im OK with the stock location of the factory banshee bars. Will the factory controls fit the flex bars? What Parts will I need to buy, in addition to the bars to convert my bike? What factory components will work, what wont? I guess its a good time to delete the parking brake? Grips? Brakes? Throttle? Handlebar ignition switch/key switch? How do they help reduce vibration and make the ride better? Thanks! Tim
  13. Close... Im a whore! Actually I work overseas to be able to get ahead in life, and afford some of the nicer things. Im a helicopter Pilot in the Middle East. Its a sacrifice, but worth it to me.
  14. My Z06... the most awesome car I have ever driven or owned With the new Camaro....another awesome machine
  15. I guess that's a 67???? Nice with an LS1! Is it cammed?
  16. Very Nice! I think it's a Stude? Pleae tell us all about it?
  17. I like your Blue Shee.... but..... Dude your front bumper is toast....
  18. Wow... Nice bikes! Is the daily driver a US Spec bike? If not, how do I get one? Tim 2009 Banshee
  19. Yeah.... I think most of us here are adrenalin junkies....I luv motorcycles and fast cars, and of course flying. Im finally in the point in my life that I can actually afford the toys. I like how you are thinking with the super cub, but I need to do it a little at a time (mostly for budget reasons). Im just going to do bolt ons (exhaust and filter/jetting, maybe a head) and suspension (Elkas and A Arms). Thanks, Tim 09 Banshee stage zero
  20. Definably will do the manual. Do you have aftermarket (Renthal) bars? Whats the big difference between stock and aftermarket?
  21. You got it. Im originally from Wis BTW. Tim
  22. Great recommendations Jereme. I will definitely get those items as well. I found a distributor for Liqui-Molly here (In Bahrain actually), and they have fully synth 2 stroke mix, anti-size, chain cleaner/lube... etc..... I will pick up the other stuff at FAST I guess.
