new in box 7mm cub cylinders plated pistons domes!
CP5899 replied to CP5899's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
The cylinders are made for a 7mm stroker crank. The bore is 68mm. No it will not work with your stock crank. No the cylinders don't need port work. I dynoed a stock ported 7mm cub a couple weeks ago at 99.6 hp on methanol. It wasn't even tuned yet. -
Like post says. I have a 7mm cub cylinder that has been plated with new wiseco pistons, and new domes (fit a cool head or noss) that I'm selling. Cylinders just have the casting flaws cleaned up. Everything is new in the box and never been installed on to a set of cases. Changing to a different project and don't need this setup. Asking $1300 for everything. The cylinders are the ones on top of the big cheetahs.

There good for spacing carbs further back so the carb doesn't hit the clutch arm....thats about it...LOL
-
I think it was around 69-71 mph....its been a while, but its right around there.
-
Yes, the score board seemed to be working when we were there yesterday. I hadn't been since they first opened. We'll keep in touch and we'll see you guys out there.
-
Thanks...I don't know what its going to do on the nitrous, but I think it will be good. We got to the track late yesterday so I didn't get many test and tune passes with all the people that were there. I wanted to play with the jetting and timing a bit. I think it will speed up a bit once I lower the timing on the pvl, but just didn't have time to mess with it. You going to the track next weekend? I think we are going again to try and tune some on it. I'm ready to get the banshee done so I can start having some serious fun..LOL The billet cases for my new motor aren't going to be here in time for the clash of the titans so that sucks, but we'll have some other big stroke cheetahs out there any way. Maybe see you next week...
-
That is the CPCustoms blaster...lol Thanks though!
-
Its 246cc as far as mods...ported, rechambered head, 2-5 override, 40mm lectron, pvl, etc, etc. These passes were all motor (no nitrous) I have nitrous on the bike, but didn't have time to tune it for the nitrous yesterday as we got to the track late.

I'm building a couple new banshees and sold my other ones so I took my blaster to state capitol sand drags for some fun and ran a 4.8 right of the trailer with the new motor and after a few changes got it down to a 4.61 and then the best pass of a 4.57. Lost first round of et races though...LOL I had be running test and tune on a pro tree the whole night and when racing started it was a sportsman tree. I saw yellow and was gone...didn't realise it was a sportmans and red lighted...LOL The other guy thought I hole shot him real bad so he left too...LMAO Here's the 4.61 slip.....the 4.57 didn't print out for what ever reason...

I agree, I don't know about 130 mph banshee in the 1/8. The line I always here is "it did 95 mph riding behind my buddies truck"
-
If your running dirt, your best tire is going to be pro wedge II's. More power with no traction is going to make things worse. Good luck

Like topic says I have a new in the box 18mm, 132 rod, big bearing crank for sale. The box was opened to look at the crank, but never installed in any cases. Going with a different motor so don't need the crank. The crank is $1945 from crankworks, I'll take $1800 or best offer. Pm me or call me at 225-773-0520.

Rcoketman28...I commend you for holding up you end of the deal. After 2 months had gone by with no word from you or no parts I was under the impression that I had been had. At that point I felt it was ok to let others no to warn anyone of bad sellers. You have clearly come through with your end of the deal and I appreciate you coming on here and setting things straight. My faith in internet sales has been recouped...lol I will make sure to add you to the list of good sellers when people ask. As for the pipes, that sounds good. I have a few customers that were very interested in trying the pipes out so I'm sure that they will be used and if all the hipe is true, I'm sure you will have a few sales from me. Thanks again. Craig

The axle is just the axle, with out hubs, sprocket hub and brake hub.
-
here are some pics of the axle and paul turner mid range pipes.

No sorry...some one cut it up for some reason??...lol Did I get to everyones questions??

Easystroke, I've got one front brake setup, but it spoken for unless something happens with the deal. Stock shocks (white off 2001) all three $150 All the used paddle tires I'm keeping so no on that (I have new sets, pm me about them if interested) No more used +8, and 10 over round housing swingarms (sold last two yesterday), only new ones left (pm me if interested) buddha, I have a set of drag ported cylinders (350cc) that went 4.3's with not much tuning, no used welded cranks, the 2+2 axle $180. I sold the used noss head, but have a new silver one with a few different sets of domes (let me know which ones you need) $240 with domes and o rings. The carrier is new (twin row) $170 with brake plate, etc. It won't fit a stock swingarm...for who ever asked. Hope I got everyones questions and pm's

I might have a stock one or two, I'll check and see. Craig

pmed you holyman

I have never ridden with them. I bought a bike that had them on it and I took them off. I hear they are good pipes, but I have no personal experience with them.
-
I am cleaning out my shop and have loads of stuff left over from privous builds to sell. Anything from grr out of frames to a durablue 2+2 axle, 2001 chassis with shocks, a arms, steering stem, tie rods and ends, paul turner pipes, noss heads, shocks, marvin shaws, stock carriers, billet round housing carriers, etc. The list goes on but you get the point. Its lots of things that I don't need for any up coming builds. I bought a few complete bikes this year for there motors so I have tons of left over parts to get rid of. I don't have the room for all this stuff so I clean out the shop of old parts once a year. Make offer and we can go from there. Craig

On a side note, I have also heard the rocket pipes are a copy of the grr pipes. I know that the grr's were out long before the rockets as I had a couple sets of them years ago. Who copied who??? Don't know that part?
