  1. I'm in louisiana along with a few others that don't post much anymore. I am in Baton Rouge. What kind of riding are you looking to do? We do sand/dirt drags and ride at the dunes in forest hills. Craig
  2. WOW....I can't believe how long this post is....LOL!!!!
  3. Yeah, I have a drag shee and building another for the new year. Craig CPCustoms
  4. Its been a long time, but figured I would stop in and see what was happening. Seems like a lot has changed and alot of new members since I was here last. Just wishing everyone a happy new year. Craig CPCustoms
  5. For the money it takes to have the tripple exhaust done, I wouldn't mess with it...especially since the bike is used for woods and mx. You can get more than enough hp and tq with out doing the tripple exhaust. Craig CPCustoms
  6. Yes, porting the bike will make the biggest difference in the world. There is no comparing a stock cylindered bike to a ported cylinder bike. You will be amazed at the difference in the two. Good Luck with either way you go. If we (CPC) can help you out in anyway just let me know. Thanks for the good comments guys! Thanks Craig CPCustoms
  7. Thats what I thought. I m sure they could be just as fast as a non pv motor. I think sometimes people think if they get pv cylinder that they will be faster in a drag. Just clearing it up that they are a bottom end thing. Later Craig
  8. I have forgotten but aren't the power valves for low rpm tq. If so, how would they have any benefit on a drag motor since you never see low rpms. I read on planet sand that some big time builder from england welds up the power valves on his rd/rz or which ever cylinders had the PV. Someone asked why not just start with banshee cylinders and he said they are harder to come by in england and the rd or rz are more availible. This guy is supposed to make (from what I read and everone seemed to believe it) 135hp at the crank on banshee style cylinders. just wondering. Later Craig
  9. I was only busting Turbos chops. You are right about the trail stuff. When turbo first got his big bore kit it had a lot of bottom end and would be great for all round riding. Later Craig
  10. Come on turbo....lets hear it. Oh all right I'll go ahead and say it. Stock banshee cylinders have to small of transfers for a 404 kit....LOL Later Craig
  11. You can get the grr pipes already chromed from andy. He sells them either way. Craig
  12. I have ported several bikes. It is something that you have to take your time with and pay close attention to detail. Think about it before you do it since a mistake could cost you a set of cylinders. Good luck Later Craig
