Yea, I figured so now i'm just irritated that I have to take it off again. I only put grease on the side making contact with the airbox, and for peace of mind I want it on both. Does anybody know of anywhere you can get a rubber o-ring for this adapter plate? I really don't like this foam setup and would be way more comfortable with a rubber o-ring. If anybody knows where to get one (or if one even exists) just let me know. Thanks!

Did you just use grease? If the majority of people on here just use grease to help seal it then i'll have peace of mind. If it's common knowledge to apply silicon as well to the foam o-ring then i'm gonna want to take it apart and re-do it
-
It's for the air filter adapter.....I was kind of thinking I should put some gasket material on it
-
Well, as I was installing mine I was noticing that the "o-ring" is just a cheap foam deal. I put a little grease around it to help it seal and put it on. My question is, has anybody had a problem with dust and what not getting by that? It doesn't seem like a very good seal, so I was just wondering if anyone puts gasket sealer or anything else around it instead of just relying on the foam o-ring that comes with it.

I have a set of sand paddles for honda quads. They have one weekend of use on them, and all tires are mounted on ITP rims. Sold the quad and need to get rid of these. Rear tires are Sand Sharks (20x11x8) and the front tires are Dune Trackers (22x8x10). These will fit a 400ex, trx 450r, other honda models, and I believe some Suzuki and Kawasaki quads as well. They are located in Temple, Texas but I can travel to get rid of them if gas money is provided. They still have the nipples on them, and smell brand new. I prefer not to ship, so local pick up for now. Thanks!

Try replacing the spark plugs and see if that helps. Is that the all black special edition? Like the 04? I love those.... -
Supercharge it. And if you just go with a base kit that is actually made for the car, no. There are kits that are made to push the hp on the car and keep it within safe limits of what the block and other componets can handle. I have had both turbo and supercharged vehicles. The supercharger is very simple (depending on the kit you get) and is a lot less maintenance. And there is nothing like a s/c whine

I wouildn't pay over 1500 for that thing. Save a little more and spend 2000-2500 on a way better condition banshee. I got this 01 for 2 grand and look at how clean it is

I'll be leaving from College Station, Texas. Not too far from Houston, pm me if you guys wouldn't mind meeting up with y'alls group somewhere along I-35. I'd rather follow a group of people going then just make the drive alone -
Signed it. Really does only take 1 minute at most, and every signature will help.

Does anybody want to split a small site? I'm just going to have my truck there, and plan on sleeping in the bed of it....or possibly bringing a tent. Or, is there anybody that will let me park my truck at their spot? I can throw a little cash in and it will just be my quad cab ram with no trailer. -
Is it billett? Because i'm not wanting anything colored

Thanks!

I trust a set of 50 dollar levers, if the only shorty's out there are 160 then stock i'll stay
-
How much were they? atv galaxy had the asv levers but they were like 160.
-
Well, I have a friend that just got some shorty levers for his Ninja 600r and I loved em. I looked on ebay for Banshee levers and found a set that included the clutch and brake levers for 160 shipped. I know for street bikes you can find knock off brands for 40 shipped, so I was going to check with you guys to see if you have any recommendations? Levers are not something I am willing to spend 160 on, so if anyone knows where I can pick a set up for around 50 dollars let me know. Thanks!

Come on guys, where can I get the mains by themselves? Where does everyone on here buy jets when they're buying them individually? -

I have the lid on it, I want to always try and run a lid. I know it robs horsepower, but I don't like my filter being exposed. Can I find 230's and 240's on ebay? I'm wondering where I can get the mains by themselves. Also, how many different ones do you guys think I should get? I want to make sure I get the right ones, and we were thinking a 220 to a 230 so i'm glad you threw out that number -

Well, I rejetted to a 290 main as was recommended by a member a while back. The quad is WAY too rich. We looked at the plugs after doing a pass on the stock mains, and there was hardly any color change. So a 200 main is too lean, and a 290 is too rich. What size would you all recommend I try next? -

I'm in Austin as well, so not far above sea level. The thing is the bike seems to be a tad richer after changing the pipes which doesn't make sense. It should have leaned it out some.
