  1. Thanks Jon, its just one I picked up for 500 bucks, I was going to slowly piece together a drag bike but I really dont have the money for that right now, so im just going to slap it together and let my wife ride it. If I ever decide to start modding it or turning one of them into a drag bike I will def keep you in mind.
  2. Sheerider, I may hit you up on those fmf head pipes, thanks for the replies everyone, lms and quadgod i PM'ed both of you. And I would like to put some CPI's on it one day but its bone stock, I would use the stock pipes but they're full of rust.
  3. Don't really care about small dents/dings or chrome condition or paint. FMF or dynoport 2 into 1, prefer dynoport but, not going to be picky, just need something to put on the wifes bike.
  4. No, I haven't, i'll check it out though.
  5. Anyone ever try any of the workouts from bodybuilding.com? I was thinking about doing kris gethin's 12 week program.
  6. What kind of motor is he looking for? Anything? Stock? Drag motor? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. In mandrel bending, if the pipe is tapered very much it's going to crease the pipe. That is, of the radius of the pipe is larger than the radius of your mandrel. If the radius is smaller it will probably crush or create a flat spot inside the bend.
  8. I have one sitting in my shed that I took off of mine. I'll sell it to you. Pm me for pics.
  9. Just make bushings for it, that would be alot cheaper and easier, any machinist or fabricator could do that for you.
  10. I have a set that are brand new, never been bolted up, +2+1 j arms, havent decided if I'm going to sell them or not though.
  11. I would fix it and ride the hell out of it. Unless theres something else major wrong with it.
  12. It's the same head, just has F.A.S.T. Engraved on the head with flames instead of NOSS.
  13. Start rich and work your way down, a motor running rich will "load up" the cylinders and will cause the effect you're having. Welcome to banshees and good luck with your tuning!
  14. I'd say you did pretty good, ram charger looks pretty good besides minor rust, are those 35's?
  15. Do you have a set of tie rod ends? Pm me a price, I'm in VA.
  16. Outlaw trails all the way! Definitely wild and wonderful! Haha! I rode up there last summer and can't wait to go back, not alot of traffic, no patrols, its free, basically you can go do whatever you want out there. The town we stayed outside of was called Crumpler WV.
  17. I like it! Did you get Jeff to do the seat? Clean bike man!
  18. Very nice lookin bike! I live right outside of Lynchburg, where do you drag race at in VA?
  19. Are you a machinist? Bike looks good man!
  20. Thanks windy, I just cut the tubing on 45's to make 90 in between the two, and it did work out pretty good with the billet intakes I already had. If I was going to do it again I would make new intake flanges though.
  21. This is the one tricked is talking about.
  22. Thanks guys, my friend actually welded it up, I did the machine work and fabrication. Thanks tricked, I actually have thought seriously about making these and some other parts but im currently waiting to get a house and shop built. I have a bridgeport ready to go into the shop, just need to build it, maybe within a year or so I can start making parts to sell.
  23. I have a stock set of pipes from an 87 j arm, not sure if they will work or not, pretty sure they will though. Would you be willing to trade the stockers for the 2 into 1 dynoport?
  24. Wasn't going to post this up but I've seen a lot of people lately talking about 2 into 1's and different styles. I made mine out of some billet intakes and some 1.75 x .125 wall tubing. I made mine to have a steeper angle and to have a good flow. Let me know what y'all think, I went back into the intakes and ground them out to blend the tubing into the intakes with a carbide burr bit and a 90 degree. Made the aluminum plate with the bolt pattern in the right locations to hold the intakes the right distance apart. Friend at work gave me a 38 PWK A/S to pair up with it.
