  1. There's an interesting banshee for sale on eBay.co.uk, that's been fitted with a 250 2 stroke rotax engine, looks really nice. Sorry not sure how to post a link.
  2. Pro circuit were doing a deal on the 2's.
  3. Any pics?
  4. The 320's came through the post the other day, the last thing I wanna do is fry the motor and my wallet! Just wanna keep it as reliable as possible.
  5. So if everyone is running 300+ mains why would toomey suggest 280-260! I'm not terribly clued up on engines so just curious to know, seeing as jetting seems one of the key things when owning a banshee. Does ruining them in the 200's give the peak performance but at the cost of frying the engine?

  7. Thanks for the info, 280 is a bit different from the 320 I was told but hey you make the things! I did email yourselfs the other day as I require some o rings and springs for the t5's and some silencer stickers as they've half torn off just wondered what the postage would be to the uk on those items? And how many o rings would I need, just that none were included from the guy I bought them off. Also just to pick your brain on your 2 into 1 intake system, is it designed for dry conditions only as I my banshee is going to be used on the road so I may get caught out in wet conditions, can they be used with outer wears? or if I made a form of splash guard underneath or would you recommend the airbox route? Just wondered how susceptible they are to water? Thanks Glen
  8. Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Heh heh yeh Goodbye
  9. Hi there, I'm just about to do so me wiring on my shee, new lights and a dc conversion and was wondering what wire to use? Theres a shop that has automotive wire and it comes in two grades 1mm 16aamp and 2mm 25amp, also these are both 12V wires will they be ok for a dc conversion as I've read they can go up to 14V. Help is highly appreciated.
  10. Just thought I'd give this thread a jump.
  11. I'm converting mine for the road, I live in the uk and you ride them on a car license. X2 for a price on a grab bar, good idea as it's less stuff to break off! Looks clean too!
  12. Thanks, I'll get ordering!
  13. So would 330 main and 27.5 pilots suit my bike? T5's, +4 timing, Foam filter with box, 95 gas at sea level?
  14. Oh cool not that far from me, are there many places to ride round your way? What type of riding are you doing on it? I've read of an enduro place for quads in Kent and they'res a mx/supercross track in Maldon. I've only recently bought mine too and am converting it to use on the road, as I put before the trail tech bars are nice and one piece like the pro taper, don't know if the bend is similar, but they look miles better than the renthals I had.
  15. Hey where in the uk are you from? I live down in Essex, I just got a set of trailtech bars with their dash clamp as I'm running a vapor speedo. Got a good deal on it all was about £170 ( bars, clamp, and speedo) off of eBay( u.s. Version) separately it works out at £270, it all looks good too and come in a range of colours.
  16. Is it an idea to run it with the lid off? Or change filter type? New to banshee's, was gonna run stock for a while but the t5's came up cheap and my budget is pretty low for performance mods at the moment as I'm spending all my money making it legal for the road.
  17. Airbox with a foam filter, will prob advance the timing by +4 once I do my dc conversion as I'm making it road legal.
  18. Hi I've just bought a set of t5 exhausts for my standard banshee, from what I've read I need to re jet the carbs. I looked on the toomey site and see they do a kit for them, question is what jets come in the kit? Can you buy that size jets from anyone else/cheaper? Plus I live in the uk and I'm at sea level and we use 95ron fuel here so would they suit it or would I need different jets? Thanks for any help given as there's nobody from around my way that can help.
  19. Not trying to change the subject here but in a drag race how would a stock banshee with t5's do against a yfz 450 with a pipe and cam? Just that I'm making my banshee road legal and round my way they're are a few 450's on the road just wanna know what I'd be up against if I were have a run against one? Also by chance is it expensive to have it ported and skimmed as my budget isn't big just got a set of t5's for £50 which is about $70, they're a bit tatty but they will hopefully make a bit of difference to my stocker!
  20. Noticed these on they're site a while back, apart from a set of toomey t5 pipes which I'm yet too fit, my banshee is stock as! Would these make much of an improvement?
  21. These are a pain in butt to start a friend of mine had one we were forever bumping him, they have probs with decompression and starting hot, in the end he had a leg like popeye's arm where it took so long to kickover, bike was perfectly set up but these years are known as a no go! He chopped his in for a kawasaki 250 4stoke, that was a lot better same as the suzuki 4 stroke i had. I also had an 04 crf450 now that's something you'd be better off with if, if your after a 4stroke it started hot or cold first or second kick even if it wasn't used for months plus was better in every way than any 250 4 stroke I ever rode!
  22. I use a silicone spray on mine, looks great!
  23. Is it possible to run one ac and one dc?
  24. WTF!!! Prob thinks they're collectors item as most of them have been scrapped!
  25. Anybody playing tdu2? Got a club or wanna join one? What cars or island are you liking the best?
