    <br /><br />That's odd, because I asked one of the guys at crankworks that at one time, and he said for it to be truly balanced they'd have to have The pistons every time.

    <br /><br />I doubt they balance it. You'd have to have the pistons if you were going to do that. Then you'd have to have it redone every time it was bored. It'd have to be balanced as a rotating assembly.

    Yea. My lt500r (quadzilla for the young guys) had all the mods done ( bigger head studs, welded cylinder base gussets, crank bearing sleeves, etc)...it was on race fuel ,22 psi compression..still couldn't beat my ported true 350 cc banshee. ..plus it was a PAIN to kick over.

    Had an 86 lt250r...what a pile of crap. Hope you have a tow rope with you at all times. Swingers crack bad. <br /> I also had an 87 lt250r and an 87 lt500r. ..no zukis for me anymore.
