I tried 4 stock springs and similar lockup weight and just pushed right through the clutch,,sounded like a CVT! haha I know they rest of our setups may be different ,but i assume by your name that you are running a 10mm Cub like me.

Usually depends on the amount of work they have to put into the cyls to achieve what you are after . Id say it averages between 200-350-ish though. Some also give a price break if you are buying everything you are going to need at one time ( which i recommend) . Also, don't simply base your opinion on what you see on their websites, actually call them when you are ready.

Although i agree HJR is great to deal with and i would have NO problems using him at any time, i think you are stretching it a bit. ( Especially the "outperforms ANY competition CC for CC" part,,that's a bold statement) My suggestion is for the O.P. to call 2-3 builders and see who HE clicks with and who fits HIS needs. We a several builders on here that produce great power and great turnaround times,who are very helpful and will go out of their way to help you. Most important >>> Have fun with your build!!

Shorter COULD be a problem if its short enough to come completely out of the needle jet. If it does , the throttle can stick wide open. As far as how short is too short ( i assume you are dealing with stock carbs?) i cant answer that because Ive never measured stockers.

I thought the same thing, but its actually the same as TX beer,etc. They just measure the percentage different. By volume instead of weight. I learned this by doing some serious beer research. haha. People will swear up and down they can taste the difference ,,but you know how the mind is.

He's talking about converting from Alky to Gas. Not from pumper to gravity fed. If your dump tube has been drilled out, you are pretty much screwed as far as running gas with those carbs. Do what NYUK said and save yourself many hassles.

Agreed 80's is fine. 70's is better,,,but I'm just going by the weather patterns this year and last year..I'm betting on mid to high 90's. Hope I'm wrong though.

Haha. Didnt know it was that bad,,we usually stay out on the dunes and dont hear about all the "plans" that never happen. We will be rolling in late Thursday night. I'll look you up Friday a.m. and if anything ends up falling together,keep me posted.

I like the idea of some kind of "activity" that's actually planned or scheduled ,, (At least one),, something you can look forward to doing besides just duning and stopping by the drag strip hoping to catch someone to race. Nothing that would be a big deal or get together,but just some time/place that you know everyone will be at a certain spot to meet up to race. I don't think some big organized "event" would work though.Too much work, and this is my time to kick back and relax,,so i am not wanting to have a full- on itinerary believe me. . but if we are going to have some builders show up ( that has been hinted at) it'd be nice to get together all at once and race and shoot the bull. That's be cool.

We do. But it was predominately built as a Dune/Play bike. But we do end up "drag racing" with it. ..go play awhile,go do some racing.

Just think,,all this hubbub was started by what is probably a TROLL..epic trollage.
