  1. Well pulled the cylinders off a few Mins ago and seen that the bottom end on right side is full of coolant. So now what do I do ? Pull motor and take back apart or what ?

  3. I used just a small dab of grease in a couple spots to hold them. kevin said to liberally coat them in grease
  4. ok guys I called Kevin and told him what was going on. he said to coat all the O rings in grease then reinstall, that's what he does. ive about decided to pull cylinders off to have them checked( decked if needed) . after looking at top end gasket kits , I see they offer cylinder gaskets for ported cylnders . ive never heard of this but ive never had a set of ported cylinders either lol so do I get gaskets for ported cylinders or not ? thanks for all advice
  5. Mine made isn't in clay city. Mpor aka mountain parkway off road is In clay city. I've not been to mine made paradise park but I do know the area it's in. Supposed to be mostly easy riding from what I gather
  6. Black mtn is a good place to ride. Mine made paradise is in knott county around hazard ky. The clay city off road park isn't worth driving all that way unless you like rough and hardcore trails lol.
  7. New seals should be in tomorrow. Should I try them one more time ? I know that the first time I pulled the head off I looked at spark plugs and the right plug has some white spots. The left side was completely chocolate colored no white at all. I wish I hadve sent the whole motor out to be built instead of me assembling it.
  8. I do have granite counter top. Actually have a extra piece in attic that I will be gettin down. Head is new. Entire motor only has maybe 2 hours of run time on it since assembled.
  9. cylinders are mx hardcore ported by hjr. my neighbor had a straight edge, so he brought it over and looked too. he said it looks good too.
  10. checked with a straight edge and looked good to me. anyone have any other ideas ? I ordered a new set of orings

  12. it sealed great on bench when I assembled motor but now it don't.. that's what I don't understand lol
  13. well I tore it down and replaced all o rings n the head with a set I had on shelf. I didn't attach all hoses or fill radiator up , done the leakdown test and it leaked at the head again.. I torqued the head down in 4 stages . 1 at 10lbs 2 at 15lbs 3 at 20lbs 4 at 22lbs ... im in need of opinions or ideas ? please and ty
  14. hey guys.. ive noticed on my new motor that when I start it and let it run for a few, it smokes more out of the right side and has a bit of fluid coming out of exhaust (im thinking its coolant ) .. so I took carbs,pipes off and preformed a leakdown test.. it held 6 psi til I loosened up the radiator cap, then started bubbling in radiator and loosing pressure. my question is would this mean a pinched or bad or ring in the noss head ??

  17. I've got a set of dual rates also. Thought about tryin to sell both sets and get some elkas but I've never had aftermarket on any of my rides so i reckon I'll settle for the triple rates lol
