Yeah I imagine he knows what he's talking about, it just kinda made me wonder. I think on my last banshee I had 21cc domes and it was also a stock cylinder dune port 4mm crank setup for avgas and sea level riding
That is what cam told me on the phone yesterday, that he wants to try 24cc domes. I didn't think about it till after I hung up with him hat he said that. I'm gonna call him on Monday and check on my status and see why he recommends that size

Thanks for the bump 2smokes, welcome to the forum.
UPP intakes are on order. Decided to go with builders recommendations. Although they did tell me to use 24cc domes on my redline built stock cyl top end for a 4mm crank running off avgas. Still unsure why they recommended a size equivalent to stock
Looks like it was dropped off last night at the po. Should be here next week. Stoked to get this bottom end buttoned up and my stuff back from redline !
That's a great idea for brake line. I might give that a try. I have stock swing arm and length but I put all yfz brakes on my banshee and I need new lines. Going to have to measure up the front lines and order some of these. Great deal on them and it's sweet you can customize the fittings on there to eliminate the loop in the brake line
I found a white maier radiator cover. I would like to remain stock but I don't want to have to paint it. I've painted a purple cover black once using plastic paint and it didn't hold up very well. I do a lot of woods riding. Looks like I might give the maier radiator cover a try
To save money.. Thanks for the replies guys I'm gonna order some new ones. So the radiator cover must be painted white ? I haven't been able to find a white one.
I have brand new vforce4 reed valves to put in my bike. It came with some intake manifolds that I've been trying to sell on here to get different ones, but no interest. So I'd like to make them work. Question is the vforce valves won't pair up to the manifolds I have due to the fins that come out the back. Should I be alright to order some reed spacers to extend out past the fins so the valves will seat properly ? I've talked to several different builders and they all recommend UPP manifolds since they are not pushing the carbs and valves out too far.
I'm after what's best for performance and reliability so what do you guys think? Go with some spacers or just keep on plan #1 and go with UPP manifolds ?
