  1. I was just about to post this exact same add. I have a set of t5 pipes and silencers as well looking for CPI small bore in frames. Mine aren't in the greatest condition but there are no holes, rewelds or dents in them. I'm not hijacking ya just putting it out there for when you snag a set
  2. In search of some brake line clamps for aftermarket a-arms, preferably raw or powder coated red. Also need a stainless braided two or three piece +2 brake line. Preferably nice condition otherwise a good deal Pingle rebuild kit, I'm guessing there is o-rings in the fuel valve, mine leaks bad Send me a message if you have any of these Thanks and happy holidays
  3. Ahhhh man j wish I would have seen this I needed that tank
  4. Cool to see a wildcard package, what ever happened to them? Doesn't seem like I've seen them around the forums in a few years.
  5. I like how you put the kill switch head light switch down low. Seem to work good and no hang ups?
  6. Well I'm not quite to the vintage leagues yet and there's in between options such as fox floats or elka, etc
  7. There's a round style plug in and a square. I believe the round ones are the older years? I have a 1997 and it has a square. Edit: The round were used up until 1993. Kumpulsive koncepts builds hands down the nicest harnesses out there. I ordered a custom one for the JDS relocate kit and he was the friendliest and quickest turn around time out there. Purchased at 10:00 at night and was mailed out the following morning. Highly recommend using his product
  8. I only dream of owning roll design products. They sure are proud of their products. The long travel kit they make looks good. I just can't justify spending that kind of coin on something I just beat up out in the woods. Someday I will come sound and buy it. But what kind of metals are they using for their stuff to make them that expensive? Some sort of space magic alloy
  9. Yeah they have some nice parts listed I was trying to decide which axle housing to get, a lot of the strong "off-road" labeled swingers I saw on eBay have the full wrapped axle housing. I like the look of the skeletonized housing with the two on each side for the cinch bolts to get welded to. Those should be strong enough for abusive riding right? As long as I gusset each corner on pivot tube and all four sides of the shock mount tube I should be pretty stout
  10. Negative I'm making a twin spar tubular swinger with a decent amount of gussets in the corners of the bearing tube and shock crossbar, as well as skid plate mounts. A ladder style swing arm would be a heck of a first time project for sure and I'm not even sure a plus 4" ladder would look right. Too crunched up and short I would think. I'll be posting pics when I start the progress
  11. Yea copy that I was thinking of using a box tubing like how my 2006 yz250 had. Still up in the air on what to use, I have all the aluminum here if I choose chromoly I will have to order some. Thinking I will be patient and order chromoly. I don't want to have to make another one the first time I roll with an aluminum subframe
  12. I know the cost of materials and my time isn't much. Taking advantage of my trade. That being said aluminim subframes. The yfz use them and the LTR bikes right ? Or is that just the upper portion of the frame ? I would think the first time you rolled the wheeler a couple times it would destroy an aluminum subframe of it wasn't gussetted right Oh and I also sent you a message my dude
  13. That is my only dilemma, a jig setup is prob the most time consuming part of the job. I may just order one from stellar and just stick with the subframe build
  14. Man I like that stellar swinger. $300 is a great deal.
  15. I'm not worried about the price, I'm doing it for the project. I build fishing vessels for a living and I would like to build parts for my wheeler. I'm more than capable of getting the job done I'm just reaching out for advice on the materials used for building them. They have a big selection of "do it yourself" pre fab parts on JDS site. That is what started the fire under me to make my own
  16. http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/251256028526
  17. I'm guessing I would need somewhere around 10 feet of tubing to build a subframe. and if I remember right the 4 subframe tabs were $30 and a weekend of my time would be more than buying a new one?
  18. Thanks for the info and yeah I am sure it will be, I've seen them go for $300-350 brand new without skid plate mounts. I've welded structural steel and know about the preheat process and penetration importance. I've been welding aluminum for 9 years and figured a good time to learn would be building my own parts. We will see.
  19. I'm thinking about building my own swing arm out of Chromoly round tubing. I have all the equipment and tools to build one at my friends shop. I have a lot of hands on with aluminum and most of my expirence welding has been with that, so I Have a few questions on the materials used. I mostly do off-road and trail riding and want to build it stout. I see a lot of other drag swing arms out there made out of 1" Chromoly. Was wondering what size and thickness materials I should use for the swingarm bearing tube and the tubing running to the axle housing. The bearing tube should be easy to figure out with the stock bearing size O.D, I'm going to buy the shock mount tabs and axle housing materials prefabbed from JDS website and am not sure what thickness and size tubing I should use to make it somewhat lightweight but most important strong for the rocky and rough terrain we have here in AK. I've done a little research on them online and didn't find any accurate measurements or materials list. I will be making it a plus 4 length with skid plate mounts. Lastly I'm doing the same thing with the subframe, going to chop the stock one off since its bent and make one to my own touch, I'm thinking 1/2" tubing for that. Or maybe 5/8 to 3/4? I've never dealt with chromoly before so I'm not too familiar in the sizes they Have. Will also be buying the subframe mount tabs off JDS to make it look clean and simple. Finishing touches will be a good clear coat finish to show the raw metal color that I'm infatuated with. Any info on a good starting point with a materials list would be greatly appreciated Thanks
  20. I have a oem wire harness in good shape and stock front and rear banshee wheels (gold) if interested pm me
  21. Correction.....CPI small bore in frames is what I'm looking for, don't want out of frame or big bore
  22. I have some chrome toomey t5 pipes and stingers that are straight with no dents or cracks what so ever, some surface rust and pitting is all. Ideally looking for CPI pipes but am open to pro circuit pipes (do not want spark arresters) or shearers Message me for phone number and I can send info and pictures thanks
  23. In search of kick start shaft spring gears the whole assembly. Mine ended up in pieces inside the case. Let me know what you have
  24. I just ordered 2 from rattle can ray and he sent me three. So I'll be putting in 4 of them his weekend. And yea you will have to flip them over
