  4. good times..Thats were i want to be .. Whats your setup, Are you running a stock swingarm(I am)? Do you have a wheelie bar( i dont)? They're two 4 strokes here that run 8.0-8.2. (Honda450r..&polaris Outlaw525).They usually beat me by a bike or a half a bike. The plan is to get the setup dialed in then find some good mid to high pipes and port cylinders to them and just tell people we just changed pipes to"" let it breath better.. .. Its true right,, haha the bills start to fall off soon after the rpm's (powerband) comes in

  6. im Stoked!! 15/41gearing workin great. bike turned 8.2 at 78mph..Just got back from the asphalt track.. I thinking about taking SHEE to the 300ft dirt track tomorrow..Nahh i'll probly go to the kart track....... F^@k it i'll flip a coin

  8. going to try out 15/41 tonight if the weather holds up. shooting for 8.3- 8-4.. Got to go change plugs will check back before i leave;;;;
  9. ohh sorry, non ported stock cylinder banshee, cool head and kehin carbs ,bills exhaust. running asphalt ...bike ran 8.5's last with 17/41 gears just got my 15 front in the mail ...will be trying it out this week... im just wondering wgat yall are running
  10. What a good rear sprocket to run ? i;ve ran 13/41 and 17/41 and i just ordered a 15 front . Whats a good rear sprocket to run maybe 45?

  13. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last night was alot better night at the track. Bike was very consistent launching and time wise( 8.4best )( 8.5 like 10 passes ) (8.6 once i didn't have it reved enough and the Pro tree caught me sleeping so it bogged ) i very happy with the suspension. New problem , the front sprocket (17teeth) is stretching my gears to long ,didn't hit 6th gear...i'm going back to the 13 front (back to stock gearing).. will probly order sprocket (15teeth) this week , i think from 13 to 17 was to big of a jump. I guy at the track has a set of out of frame drag pipes thats for sale. I;m going to check them out and get a price on them, he also has a set of alky carbs , i will be asking about them to. I will go back for some more testing when new parts (15 sprocket) and maybe pipes (if they're in good condition) come in . thanks again for all the advice..

Do you run race fuel and meth together.? or just in the same bike.?(one tank race fuel, one tank meth,) this bike was a trail bike before turned into project dragbike aka Sleeper LOL , stock stroke stock bore non ported , just a coolhead, v3 reeds ,bills exhaust, kehin pwk's, bolt on's only. thanks for any info and advise.
  16. The bikes got 180psi compession.. Hadn't been inside of motor since it was bought..Don't know dome size. I'm running 93 octane, should i be running race fuel with that much compesssion. I was told by someone that i could run alky with that much compession.
  17. THIS IS SOME CRAP!!! thunder and lighting caused the track to be canceled Yesterday. got to wait till next Friday. I hate playing the waiting game. i raced a stock Honda 700 and killed him on the road. i gave him a bikes lead and picked it up plus about 5 more bikes..The new clutches working good.. and are grabbing hard changed springs to heavy duty
  18. I'd check your reeds and reed cages. The screws may have come loose and the reeds got sucked in the motor.. also check for fouled plugs
  19. wheel speed ? I tried to over rev it dump the clutch .but it's not spinning the wheels. tried too much rear air pressure but it still hooks. its a suspension issue .to much weight over the rear wheels, i think,,

Sure explain.. any info is going to be a big help. not trying to get a longer swinger because then at the track people want you to spot them and let them break (break is leaving the line first.) Not looking at having a 6 sec bike. just trying to break into the high 7's . I'm running low 8's now 8.3 - 8.5. 1/8 mile track

  23. t Yeah figured it was geared to high so got a 17 tooth front ....it a lil tamer out the hole but its a pulls strong on the topend. and i know my Bill's exhaust is a low-mid range but what pipe as more of a mid to high range for a stronger powerband
  24. UPDATE changed the rear strut length. Seen some improvement when test launching on the highway. But got rained out so.... I can't compare highway to a VHT prepped drag track. will give track update when i get there. Thanks SLOWERTHANYOU got to really thinking about the swingarm angle,, and i think I understand what you mean and what it does even with the strut
