  1. domes were bought from same builder who did the porting ,which is a reputable builder and sponsor here on bhq . so 160 psi and pump fuel would be pretty much borderline to be running?
  2. So here's the problem ive been having since i had the motor rebuilt . detonation on the right side , so here what is done to the bike . 4 mill ,dune port , +4 timing ,k&n pods , fmf sst pipes ,stock carbs , 350 mains ,27.5 pilot , needle middle clip , sea level ,22cc domes ,160 psi ,.035-.038 squish , leak down test is good . Ive put brand new fuel lines ,brand new plugs ,fresh gas but cant figure it out. i gotta get this bike working correctly . any input would be apreciated thx

  6. blown o-ring , pro design head its the second time this has happen in a short amount of time .
  7. Could cylinder head studs become stretch after repeated use ,is there a limit to how many times the head can be torqued ? should they be changed whenever possible ?
  8. 795 series pistons 65.00 mm comes with rings ,circlip and wristpin 21 cc domes NON-stroker some pitting on one the other is fine ,came off of prodesign head. 10. New-Brunswick here!!
  11. maybe you will have to file off some more materiel where the idle screw sits on the carb. When i installed mine i had to file it down a bit to get the right adjustement ... but not tou much.
  12. have you installed idle screws?
  13. Well for now ill use it as a temporary fix ...and further down the road ill get it done right !
  14. u need a spacer plate under the jugs if u have no porting . i have a similar setup as yours . i ditch the head gasket spacer plate for a normal gasket . there for heads with non-stroker domes .
  15. ok thx ... yeah if i had some spare cash i would go for the porting and cut domes a lot less guess work hehe .
  16. ok thx a lot ! I will let u guys know what happens i installe the other plate ! do i need a gasket on both sides of the spacer plate or some black gasket meaker will be fine ?thx again to everyone for the help!
  17. Yep thats about it ! i bought this bike and it was all messed up as im going thru the rebuild im finding some weird stuff hehe ...but slowly i am making this right or trying too at least . ive ordered the spacer plate that goes under the jugs when it arrives ill install it and recheck compression . how can changing the spacer plate from top of jugs to bottom of jugs change compression that much ...does it have to do with port timing?
  18. yeah id like to run regular pump gas a lot cheaper and way more convenient ! you think a thicker base gasket would get me in the 150 ish psi range or it would not make that big of a difference?
  19. squish is around .038 -.040
  20. pm sent.
  21. ill have to check nothing change since the rebuild but ill let u know soon .
