because aint got much money lol i know its not the best way ... just want to know if there available somewhere. i would get porting done and stroker domes but that will have to wait for a while .

are u at sea level or close ... i have 21 cc dome and 190 psi . where did u get those spacer plates??

would not having a spacer plate under the cylinders change how much cranking compression i am getting ? because the port timing would be off.

ok so i ruled out the faulty gauge ... so how much octane is needed when running 190 psi of compression and do u calculate compression ratio?

yeah well it might be cheaper to buy a stock head after all . just triyng to get this right .

can porting change compression readings ? i know my port timing isnt right because im not using a spacer plate underneath the cylinders .i see a lot of people on here running 21 cc domes or smaller . whats the biggest size domes available ?

how can i be sure its pre-detonating ...what are the usual signs ?

ill have to double check the compression then ,i dont have the stock head bike came this way. It seems to run fine .I can advance timing if that can help? i find it strange that i could not run a coolhead ??

yes thats what i was expecting but cant figure out why it would be so high except a faulty gauge ... i have a post on this in the repair mods section

well i have 21 s right now and im at sea level . but my gauge reads 190 psi ,maybe ill borrow another gauge and double check

yeah ill have too but i doubt i can find any around here . ill be looking for some bigger domes and see if it gets better.

mine is making the same noise dont have a vid to show tho . i know my compression is too high but dont know if it would cause this noise.

so 22 cc stroker domes would be good enough to run pump gas ...

cylinders are unported 65mm bore ,its a long rod crank and a spacer plate between the head /cylinder ... would this cause detonation?

I check my compression after the rebuild ,new pistons, new crank and my gauge reads 190 !! im running cool head with 21 cc dome at sea level and 4 mill crank. if anybody who has a similar setup could let me know what kind of readings they have ... trying to rule out a faulty gauge .

My banshee has been making a ticking sound since the last ride . I just put on a new set of silencers on, before i had a set of custom made pipes with no packing what so ever was very loud . Now is it maybe the lack of noise is making me hear some normal operating sounds ? i Know its kinda hard to explain what sound it makes but any info would be apreciated . thx
