  1. I also live in Washington, and i have Fronts cut down like Full Bores and Rears Shaved like 3/4. I do mainly trail rideing and like the others have said above if its muddy you are gonna get muddy, but when i ride i kind of expect to get dirty so it doesnt bother me. I also wear tear offs, work great for mud and rain. You ride out by Capitol Forest? That place is a mud hole all year except for summer.
  2. I like them. Lots of adjustment. And they work good for the kind of riding i do. I like them a lot better than the stockers.
  3. True but neither do banshee's in general. Im just saying that compared to my stock twin carb set up i like the 2 into 1 more.
  4. I run Trinity's 2 into 1. I ride mostly dirt and i love the set up. I also have Trinity Stage IV Pipes. Makes awesome lowend.
  5. Amen. I agree i think that a lot of the young kids with tight budgets just putting random crap on their cars ruins it for those that actually like certain mods that are considered Rice. When i see a "Riced Out" cars i tend to look at the driver as well, usually gives you a pretty good idea of why the car looks like it does.
  6. Hard to tell from the Vid but looks stock to me. And the only adjustment on Stock banshee shocked are the Springs i believe. The is a Washer nut deal on the top you loosen up to reduce spring rate. Other than that i dont think there is any adjustment.
  7. Right on thanks. Devol Racing is right down the road from me, I grew up with one of them maybe it will be free. Except they are kind of dicks...
  8. I use Spectro Golden Gear Lube 85w, And have never had a problem. Seems to last forever also. Like 9 Bux a quart.
  9. Exact same thing, Remove the whole parking brake assembly if you dont use it. That thing is garbage on Banshees and older Yamahas anyways.
  10. Same mix that was put in there 3 years ago? 2300 is pretty cheap, I would test ride that thing and check out the clutch, making sure it grabs hard and check the plugs, are they 3 years old also?
  11. I have +2 +1 and i love it. No problems with stearing and its no wider than my YFZ 450, at least not wide enough to notice.
  12. BTW NickIsGod i get a boner everytime i see your sig. That thing is so sexy.
  13. I had a Set of T3's on my 06 and they were great for more top end, but wasnt too fond of them on trails, so i switched to Paul Turners Mid Pipe, by far my favorite pipe for trails awesome low end. I sold my 06 and just recently bought an 03, I currently have Trinity Stage 4's and they are good all around but would go to another set of Paul Turner Mids in a heartbeat.
  14. I was just wondering the same thing. You have an estimate for what it would cost to fill a rear reservoir?
  15. By up there are you referring to seat height? If so, you might be the first person ever to claim the YFZ feels higher than the 450r. Usually what i hear is the exact opposite.
  16. I had an 07 YFZ and it walked all of my 2 buddies with 450r's with HRC kits all day. As far as a wife quad, if your wife is smaller i would go for the new Raptor 250. I bought my wife an 08 and she loves it, in trails the thing keeps up with 450's with alittle work. When i mess around on it i love it too, They come from the factory at 300 lbs and you can do anything on that thing. I also rode the new YFZ 450r with FI and was not impressed at all, had more top end, but the notice in lack of torque compared to the Carb. models was horrible. The owner of the Fuel injected YFZ said the same thing he also couldnt believe the lack of torque in comparison.
  17. my 05 STi
  18. Where you live in Washington? Are you on Nasioc or IWSTi? Join Nasioc and join the NWIC, awesome community and great info.
  19. 14/41 is Stock ^^^^^
  20. As far as performance goes, Stock VF-39 Turbo, HKS Catless Turbo Back, Walbro 255 Fuel Pump, DW 850 Injectors, SPT Intake w/ Gimmick Turbo Inlet Hose, Oversized Top Mount, Cobb AP, And Pro Tuned to 351 All Wheel Horse, and 372 All Wheel FT LB's Torque on 94 Octane. Other mods, Seibon Vented CF Hood, Seibon CF Trunk, Limited STi Lip, Lowered on COBB Racing Springs, ACT Street Modified Clutch And ACT Flywheel. Factory Subaru Gauges(Boost/Vac, Oil Temp., Voltage) As well as Pillar Pod with Oil Pressure and Wideband AFR. Stuff that does nothing for performance or weight savings, Pioneer Touch Screen HU, 8" Kenwood Shallow Mount under Passenger seat, 10" Alpine Type R in Trunk, Powered by Alpine 500 Watt Single Channel Amp, Blacked out Dash and Center Console. Im sure im forgetting some stuff but that is all i can think of at the moment, my car is set up to be comfortable enough to drive any day if i want without losing creature habits like stereo and AC, but still go to the track if i want and throw down a little.
  21. Not yet, Possibly next summer. Ill prolly be running Meth after i rebuild. No gogo juice though.
  22. Exactly im not saying i have raced dozens of 400+ cars or anything but i know both times i have it was all squeelin on his end. 0 - 60 is all i really care about anyways, anyone can catch up eventually. Im not a street racer and where can you take your car over 100 without risking jail time or putting innocent bystanders lives at risk anyways. Just my .02
