I'm going to be rebuilding the motor on my banshee and was going with a dune port from kevin at herrjugs and was wondering what I would need to hold that power? Would upgrading the plates and going to hd springs be good enough? I'll be running fmf pipes, stock carbs, timing plate, and k & n pod filters.

How's the power delivery? Is it smooth or like a light switch. I'm going to have mine rebuilt by kevin. Also trying to decide if I should stay stock stroke long rod or go 4mil.

Its that big of a diff for the mx/hc port. How's the low end compared to stock? How's the power?

I've been reading over a few topics, and can't decide what I want to go with as far as shocks go. I read that duel rates will be good for a weekend warrior like me. How do the works g series work as vs the regular duel rates? I do know I am going to go with a +2 +1 J arm set up. Just rolling around with a stock suspension blows. And I will be throwing a 4mil in there so I think its time for a up grade.

This would be a trail bike so it would have to be an in frame pipe, thanks for the help though.

Who runs a +6 because I've been thinking of building a sevral motor and was reading a +6 is like driving a limo on the trails. Anyone run a +4 and would this work better for a trail swinger?

Yeah I have someone to help me out with this. So I'd imagine it wont be too bad. Just going to take my time when I do. Also going to change the oil while I'm at it.
