I am about to finish a build and I've got 26mm carbs but the intakes are for 26/33mm carbs. Should I just clamp them down or will there be an air leak from the rubber wrinkleing?

Depends what kind of rideing you plan on doing. If you plan on running through a bunch of water and mud then yes air box it is. As for the sound that's just more power to you...

Just trying to make them look acceptable until winter time. Then i'm having them re-chromed.

Used 000# steel wool and break cleaner did good didn't scratch the chrome either.

Just got some shearer pipes and their looking a little ruff. Was wondering what I could use to clean the burnt crap off of it and what looks to be like glue on it. I know neverdul will polish them up too any sugestions would help.

Cut the trans maby? depending on mods this could help and have the shift star mod done.
