I have been running my duneable override in my 10 mil for three seasons. I trail ride with my kids and hill climb and never had any problems.. See Cam and tell him what your doing and he will fix you up. And trust me, if you try to run the stock tranny set up it will not shift under the load of a 10 mil.

I have been dune riding and trail riding my dune ported 465 cub(10 mil) now for 4 years now. I have a TDR forged crank($800.00). I cruise with my two kids who also have banshee's a 421 cub(dune ported HJR) and a dune ported stock cylinders with a 4mil crank from HJR. If you mix your gas with good oil (klotz) and are jetted correctly and built by some one who knows what they are doing the motor will last. Did I also mention I'm 42 and my son is 17 and daughter is 15.We go out riding almost every weekend and never had a failure. Again my bike is up and down on the throttle trying to keep up with the kids. So trust me when i say 10 mil cranks will last....

I'm buying a new billet crank and it's either crankworks or twister. Is it worth buying the 18 mil rod bearings.Which one is better. It will be for dunning and the odd drag race. Thanks.

I have the same set up +3 +1 fullflights and Gt thunder set them up perfectly and I weigh 260 lbs. Dual rate spring set up. Just wicked and they will match the color you want.

Who did you buy them from. Maybe they are nickel plated instead of the triple chrome. I bought mine from cascade innovations five years ago and they still look brand new and my son drive my bike morning t'ill night. Had a tiny bit of bluing that comes off with a little autosol polish.

How is the 72mm super cub for cooling.

The cooling seems to be a issue with the DM cylinders but there has to be a way to cool them down. I want to build a DM dune bike to drive. Some one please help.

So if my friend with the 555 DM motor and I go riding. All I have to do is cruise around for 15 or 20 minutes and drag him and he will overheat. That's going to be shitty for him. I think I'll let him know about the problem he is going to have. Thanks for the heads up before I spent all that money on my new motor..

I know 18 mil is big but if I'm going to build a new engine I want it to be my last .And when I say trail riding it's driving down mine haul roads(almost like dune sand) a little harder.I always wanted to build a DM cylinder bike but if it won't cool down when riding dunes there is no use building.

I have a 465 cub on gas(c-12) and I want to build a 688 dm to run on c-16. The only reason is because one of my friends will be riding a 4 mil DM cylinder (555) and says he is going to beat me. We all trail ride, hill climb and drag race. I know 18 mil is a little out there but if I’m building a DM cylinder bike there is no use building the same as him. Will it overheat when dune and trail riding as I know the DM do not have as much cooling capacity as the cub cylinder.

So how much do you have to jet up. The intake size will increase by quite a bit. What do you think..

Just send it to HeerJugs Racing and be done with it. Trust me he did mine and it was perfect. If you have a little extra money get it ported the difference is unreal. makes the bike come alive.

If you paid via Paypal you can open a disput and he will have to refund your money or come to some sort of resolution. And trust me he will try to fix the problem as paypal will remove the money from his account and keep it in trust unti'll the disput is solved. If you use paypal the ball is in your court. You have 30 days so Giddy-up.

I also had a problem sealing this ADA head. I bought mine off ebay. I even tried buying all new new seals. The only way they sealed was with a little silicone. Just send back the head and get your money back and buy a noss head or a pro design and forget about any problems..

Hey I just bought a lone star trx 250r hub for the banshee and the blingstar 250r sprocket guards fits perfect. Problem solved. Pretty sad we have to buy a 1987 sprocket guard for a bike that was made from 1986 to 1989 for a bike made from 1987 to 2006. What the FUCK is wrong with this picture.

Does anyone make a dual sprocket guard for the banshee. I know blingstar makes them for all bikes except the banshee. PLEASE tell me where I can buy one. Thanks.
