Well I have officially been banned from BT for my statement above.
What a worthless pussy screamin96 is. Oh well, that site has no useful banshee or YFZ450 info at all.
Get you a pair of pwk 35mm carbs. They are easier to jet then the PJs. You are way to lean running 260 mains in the stock carbs if you have aftermarket pipes. You really haven't told us much about you setup.
I have a set of 1/2" reed spacers with hardware - $15 shipped and a Clymer's Manual - $20 shipped so you'll know how to install them. I'll see what else I have stuck away.
bansheefreestyler what a 2 way fuck you are. You are trying to sell your banshee over at the YFZCentral forums so you can buy a 4 stroke. And now you are trying to start shit here because they all laughed at you cuz you said you were a yamaha sponsored freestyler getting ready to pull off the backflip in a couple of months.
Hell I don't care what anybody rides. I just like to ride quads and BS and learn from other people that do the same. But I hate these jokers that like to play one forum against another. What a loser.
It won't be the power that makes up your mind. It will be the handling. Since you have both at your disposal take each one around an MX track and give 100% on both and I bet you'll have faster times on the 250r.
I can't wait for the regular season to start. They are airing the World Championship 125s and 250s today on ESPN2 (taped). The 250 races are gonna be awesome this year. I am a big MC fan but I suspect he'll be mid pack most of the time.
F.A.S.T. Racing is located in Holton, KS a few miles north of Topeka. Jeff is a good person and has helped me out plenty. His motors are some of the fastest down at Little Sahara in OK. Give him a call 785-364-5325 and tell him 00banshee sent you over. He'll take real good care of you.
01bansheeke, where are you located at. There are a number of reputable builders all over that can sell you the cheetah cylinders all setup and ready to go.
I am just ploaying around. I have all the respect for you guys racing flattrack. I have a couple buddys that race in the NFTRA series and I go to the races all the time. You guys go crazy fast.
For what type of riding conditions. I was happy with the 400cc kit. Off the shelf it put out 80hp with 40+ ft lbs of torque. I ran T5, Trinity inframes, and CPI pipes with the CPI getting the nod for most low to top end power.
Here is a banshee manual you can download for free. Hope it helps you out. Nothing beats a clymer's though. In fact, I have one I'll sell you for $20 shipped to the lower 48. Let me know.
