  1. If they are the stock cylinders just punched out to a 409 then you can still run the 2into1 carb and 2into1 pipe. But if you are going to restrict the larger size bores with the 2 into 1 setup you may has well keep your stock cylinders. My .02 on woods racing,,, If you have your mind set on running a 2 stroke you have plenty of motor with what you have now. Spend all your resources on the very best suspension you can buy, some good skidplates and waterproofing. Then hope you have the nuts to hang on to that beotch thru the tight trails.
  2. only 145# with 13/41 gearing, you should be able to pull 6th with a good running piped shee. Stick with about an 8 paddle hauler and you should be OK.
  3. You getting rid of the KFX400?
  4. .004 / inch of bore.
  5. Pilots have sucked in some junk when you ran empty. Blow them out and try it again. Hope it works for you.
  6. I went out and checked out my wife's warrior and although the thumb throttle is shaped a little different I bet you could get it to work without any problems.
  7. They just sold
  8. Sorry I missed it by a couple of days, but Happy Birthday dude. Look forward to checking out the pics when you get them posted. Even if it is late I'll still drink one for you tonight.
  9. I have a nice 1999 400ex that runs like a new one. Send me some pics please.
  10. I have the stock pipe hangers off my 2000. Still look new. You can have them for $30 shipped. I also have the cascade billet clamps (needs rubber replaced) for the FMF pipes. $35 shipped. or all of it for $60 shipped. Let me know.
  11. damn, doesn't sound good but it could change between now and then.
  12. You ain't serious you think? You still gonna make it down to LS this weekend? I hope to get the chance to put a few faces with the names here on the forums.
  13. I like these better. Filtered Airbox Lids
  14. I think it is in the May issue I just received.
  15. McSkinner, do what you will with your filters, but what ever you do don't change that avatar.
  16. You say Banshee & Warrior for sale, yet you list 2 Warriors?
  17. My .02,,, you're asking for trouble if you use no oil. Are you at least running an outerwear?
  18. Our group runs open filters and have never had any problems. Although it is a scary feeling when you see a filter laying out in the sand and you wonder for that split second wether it is your's or not.
  19. Cool, I am thinking of doing the same.
  20. I don't know about you but I am 41 years young and can't get enough of this shit. I think I have had my shee setup everyway possible and still trying out new crap.
  21. When I added my +2 +1 a-arms and ran my works setup for stock arms it let the bike sit to low. When I would hit the bottom of a big hill fast going up or down it seemed like my front end would almost drag, which ain't good. So I ordered a new set of Works designed for the wider stance and now the front end sits back up where it needs to be. In my opinion zero preload is an awesome setup for most riding conditions except out in the deep sand.
  22. they are required in this area.
  23. I run the works dual rate w/ rezzys and +2 +1 a-arms on my duner and they work great. I can fly over the whooped out sections and do what little jumping I do without any problems at all. But you can certainly get a lot better suspension if you want to spend the money. I am just saying this setup works great for my riding style. Fast as hell, but close to the ground.
