has anyone heard of theese mossbarger reeds? took the kids cyls off to rering them and found theese reeds in it, they have two chipped petals. found a set for $10 each. are they any good? his shee has not been apart for 12 years. pistons and cyls look good veery little wear. they are 80 over now. rering and run it is our plan.

I put a 4mil in mine with out porting for it, it ran ok little gain over stock. I just ran the spacer plate, if you go with the long rod4mil you'll need the rite pistons to match.

x2 when you work with them every day snapon is worth the money. if I break one a phone call and a new one is usually to me within a couple of hrs.

I've been running dominator for a long time now it's clean burning oil, two years with my toomey screen spark arresters, never have to clean them

I run my dominator oil at 50-1 just had the motor apart yestureday to do a duneable trans, everthing in the motor is well oiled with very little to no wear.

you don't like it? it's not all about numbers. I road mine for years with what you have,and loved it. with what you have now you should eat piped 4 pokes. you should be proud to own the badest quad ever built!

I'm sure I will be, my old trans did not shift after I did the pipes, portwork,and 4mil.

if it's good then dont bore it. why waist a bore?

thats good assurance that I can back load it some without it breaking. I still wont do it on purpose to much.

how long have you run it? is the left pipe loaded up from the old motor? is it using any trans oil?

I don't care if you can backload it, just nice to know that if you make a mistake and let off it's not always going to kill it.

it has full roller slides. proly a 2011 with it being 6 months old. a stteal at that price.

stock trans will not shift under full power no clutch shifts. a overide shifts under full power no clutch to shift, you have to pull in the clutch if you let off the gas or you will bend shift forks. and have to stop to down shift. a duneable will shift full power no clutch shifts, you can let off the gas without pulling in the clutch, you can down shift if you match the engine speed to the speed you are going. thats how kevin explained it to me.
