  4. hi all i was wondering if anyone could tell me how this happened or if there just old.the one on the left is from the left cylender.i checked my pistons and they look great so thats why i was wondering about these and if i should look deeper or just get new ones.im running a 4 mil cub with fmf pipes and i had 28m carbs.i found these when i removed the boots cause im putting 35 on it and now i got drag pipes also.any help would be great.
  5. i have a 421 ported by k+t and it flies and makes some mad power.i just got some trinity out of frames for it.cant wait to see what it does now

    swing arm

    looking for a -2 stock or after market swinger.also need some good front suspension.like elka or works to fit my yfz a-arms.i have a great running stock motor that i could trade for the right deal
  8. theres also a full circuit in ny for flat track races.look up electric city riders they do a full flat track and then ice races in the winter

  10. this weekend is gonna be my first ride with this new shee.going to the big race at lake george.hope all goes well.just letting every one know and hope to see some hq members there. oh couple pics of my shee.
  11. do not use starting fluid on a two stroke cause thats how you can blow them up.it will lean the motor out real fast

  13. ok so ive been trying to figure out why im having such a hard time to find the problem.this is whats happening,the banshee starts up on first kick with out the chokes and seems to idle ok.it seems like the right cyclender is misfiring,and im thinking this cause the left pipe gets hot and the right one is cold compared to the left.i started off by jetting and then moved to ohming out the whole electrical system.then i even changed the coil and same problem,then i changed out the stator and pickup coil,now i ve even changed the cdi out and same problem.all these parts came from a good running bike.so now i dont know what to do.ive done compression test and both cylenders are at 170psi.i did a leak down and it held 6 psi for 15 min with a .5 psi loss.i have a 4mill 421 at +4 timing with 35pwks,new plug boots on coils.i dont now where to look now and im almost ready to give up.could the reeds be the problem.i also used 3 sets of plugs and the right one seems wet and left one is deffinatley firing.i need all the help possible PLEASE

  16. i need to know what you guys think about this stator.i need to know if this could cause me to have an ignition problem.it seems to break up on the top end like it looses the right cyclender
  17. they wont bolt on cause honda uses 4-110 and the banshee is 4-115.they sound like there good wheels.the tires are great for flat track racing or tar
  18. can some one tell me what the float hights should be on 35 pwks.and also the best way to set them
  19. anyone know what position the clip should be on for the needle in teen temps.right now i have the clip in the center slot.i for get if i move the needle up it give me more fuel or less
  20. ok so now im giving up on the jetting cause i think i have a problem some where eles.ive gone rich and lean with jets and it does the same thing.the problem im having is it seems like its running out of fuel or its loosing spark.im setting up for circle track racing and when i try to go over half throttle it has a bad bog and then it almost seems like it drops to one cylinder.i dont think its fuel cause im running pingle valve and these are 35 pwks.it also seems that the right pipe is colder than the left like its not firing.thats why i think its the electrical.i need all the help possible.
  21. ok now im starting to get frustrated.im in the process of jetting carbs and not having good luck with it.so now i went right through the carbs.the needles are set to the middle notch.then i noticed that my idle screws where all the way in so i backed them out and resynched the crbs and it seems like the idle screws do really do any thing.this is on 35mm pwks.what would cause the idle screws to not work
  22. have you ever heard of spark plug boots causing it to break up on the top or would it affect it all the time
  23. sorry i got 35 pwk and yes its 16 degress and thats not the low either i dont get what you mean by change it to 4
  24. is it possible or sound like it could be this.i have my jetting at 50piolet and 190 mains.its 16 degress and when i try to go to the top end it seems to break up.im thinking its a jetting issue but maybe it could be this.im not sure so any help would be great.i have the stock plug boots and was wondering if this could cause this problem if they are bad.
  25. my set up is right now is im at 659ft and its around 16 degress.i have a 50 piolet and now 190 mains.i went bigger cause i keep breaking up on the top end like its lean.
