  3. 1- you’re from MI, I don’t expect you to be smart. 2- you’ve got a hot ol lady, so I’ll make a partial exception for #1 3- if it’s a play bike, it’s just that. Run it on pump, run the hell out of it, PLAY with it, and enjoy it on the cheap and easy. Sometimes, less is more.

  7. If it runs good, then run it! Don’t fix something that isn’t broke! Buy your own tester! $30 or $300. Just buy one. Use it, and your procedure as a baseline. But, until it gives signs of slowing, run da fuck outta it, that’s what they are made to do. Good gas, good oil, good warm up. Run it!

  13. What is the application? Drag, trail, etc. On a drag bike, its virtually inevitable that you will be wrenching on it, so ATF has always been my go to because its cheap and works fine. If its a daily rider, duner, trail type deal where you just want to add gas and ride, then I would recommend a Redline, or something along those lines.
  14. If you cannot afford a Timesert, then you should not own a banshee.
  15. I think I’d figure out why it’s blowing the gasket first. If running correctly, and tightened correctly, they RARELY go bad.
  16. Take them off, install stock carbs, ride. You have no reason to run those carbs.

  18. Carb bowls on correct side Choke tube on Carbs clean Jets correct size and clear Carbs synchronization is correct If one hole goes dead, I’d place bets on carbs. Do a real compression check so (1) you know it’s good, and (2) so you have a baseline that you can refer to as things wear out.

  23. You were fine right until that Dyna started adding timing. You get it on the plate, or in the box, but you don’t get both.
