  2. hahaha ok we will be there like 9-10 am to do war..lol
  3. Seems like paddles are ok on the start but its a little harder down track.. Im bringing every set of tires i have including spikes. Im having trouble getting info out of people...lol I was gunna run a bar but by the looks of it it will hang up on the hump behind the starting line.. Im bringing: drag chassis with a 10 super cub drag chassis with a drag port ss 350cc mild dune/ drag yfz stockish yfz also bringing a +4 swinger if i cant get anything to hook..... ill put the bar high and the short swinger .... LET IT EAT!
  4. i have a set and id say they are better than stock
  5. Well i dont think ill be able to defend my win from last year with this 350.... but ill try! Wheelie bars are for sissys.................................right joe? lol
  6. ill take them pm sent
  7. Im pretty sure the billet cranks have different size webs to match the stroke to aid in harmonics/balance.. cast cranks use the same shape and size webs as stock and just move the pin for stroke. If you have billet cases make sure you buy the right wheel diameter for the cases. Chris
  8. Wish this thread would have been 2 months ago. Im not getting into this shit show, however Daves old 10 cub was one of the hardest runners ive ever owned, rode or seen. many people including Liljockey481, Badassbanshee479,joe2002,turbo jay,johndeere10 have seen that motor go 4.0 with 240+lb riders, and 3.83-3.92 with lighter riders..or made the passes (liljockey481). The motor did seem to run harder with small bore, but all passes on the timers it had big bores. now as for the REAL reason this thread is here..lol I have ran shearers on all my builds to date and have had my share of quality issues, however the pipes run great hands down. I HAVE had snipers in my hands and mounted to my bike, and imo the quality is twice than that of shearers. My opinion on snipers is simply a initial quality eval. Chris WheelmanChassis
  9. shane ill pull my springs out of my lectrons if ya can find someone that hasnt left yet i could meet up with..
  10. lol its stock stroke 65.50 bore.... what u mean 350ish? Same motor you raced with small changes , a better chassis and lighter rider.. I have a ton going on and it was only going to be a day trip.... just not going to work for me... Have fun guys be safe. Chris WheelmanChassis
  11. Guys I'm not going to make it. DmS not done and I have to much going on. have fun!
  12. Timming? Im new to how the hydrolics of fuel in the cylinder could push closed the strap..Thought the fluid would be all around the strap equalizing pressure around is resulting in no directional force. Hydrolocked motors normally have head o ring blowouts or bend rods.. big red i know your very good can i get some info on this? Chris
  13. i would be 100% down for that brian...
  14. well it looks like im not going to make the track on friday.... sux i wanted to see what this lil 350 would put down with a jockey.
  15. Great runs man! Just noticed om in your av pic on the 350 bike..lol
  16. Its lean causing it to glow the ground strap red hot making it weak and it closes the gap. only other cause ive ever seen is to much timming. This will also make strap run red hot. Normally deto will happen on the outside edges not effecting the plug unless already way hot.... other than possible breaking the porcilin (sp) Chris
  17. I will have my ez-up with Wheelman Chassis on it out at the flats where we drag race.. im sure most fast bikes will be close by..lol Shane you have the second bigest banshee motor that will be out there you better not be buyin drinks lol.
  18. I want a long travel now! Thanks to jeremy..lol anytime he needs a co-pilot For right side weight count me in!
  19. Yes you have found the answer..lol I have found that if my bike shutters the cluch, or shakes the tires real hard it will break the inner most clutch fibers. While this can normally be fixed with base pressure and other clutch adjustments, I have found if i trim .150 of the OD of the inner fiber and .100 off the second. This allows minor slipage in the first 2 plates eliminating that shutter in the clutch.. In doing this i have also find that i need to add just a little weight to the secondary arms for the desired launch. As for our new talk of inspection. I have found the steels will often warp as they over heat, and once they do the clutch must be re-setup to continue. In my exp. i have the best luck with factory steels that i have re-surfaced. As off as it sounds i have the best results from steels that have been heated then re surfaced. Brian.. from your exp how does inspection and mait. help us to performe better on race day?
