Wait, lol, you found a "builder" that is stupid enough to "sponsor" a recreational rider? Like, someone who doesn't compete... but they "sponsored" you? :rotflmao: This guys stories keep getting better. Keep posting Thackie, this place has been dead lately. We need this.
-
This has been a successful troll of Thack82 for over a year now... :rotflmao: :rotflmao: Someone make him a seat cover that says "cobbled".
-
Hahaha, I didn't read any of his posts, but that picture is AWESOME! I saved it to my photobucket... :rotflmao: Mr. Jim Thacker, you are a comedian, and nothing short of that. Oh, and for anyone wondering, this guy is ACTUALLY legit... :rotflmao: He HONESTLY believes that this junk he threw together sort of handles halfway decent...

I went twice, the last two years and it was less than impressing... I dunno, maybe I was expecting some giant event... High expectations, I suppose. Trinity had the fastest bike two years ago, that should say something.
-
Yep, BOTH people that went last year are going again this year... :rotflmao: In all seriousness, I hope the turnout is good. I'm not going because I have a wedding to go to, but it's going to be hotter than ten motherfuckers out there.

PM me the case number from the breaking and entering case. If it's real, I will back you 100%. You don't have to give it out publicly, but at least PM it to me and if it is actually real, I got your back 100%

Just wanted to point this out. When you started this thread you "FOUND IT!!". This setup was the cream of the crap. Nothing better, absolute best. But then... So wait a minute. The cream of the crap setup actually became BETTER?!?! NO WAY!!!! You ditched the 450R sprindles, hubs and other suspension components for 450X components, as well as the Full Flight a-arms for some super sweet custom Metal Tech ones. I don't know if we can trust your advice anymore, pal. I mean, it's fantastic advice, but you contradict yourself far too often. Those two posts were even on the same page.

Thanks for that lesson on junk shocks that don't belong near ANY ATV, let alone cobbled onto the front end of a banshee. Ah, that's right, because I have been in this business for 9 years knowing NOTHING about other terrain. Silly me. I'm not sure what dunning is, but if you meant "duning", stock suspension is the absolute WORST on the choppy dunes. Just saying.
-
lol @ this thread being bumped with his "please, someone pat me on my back" post... Take your cobbled together banshee and go hit some bowling ball sized rocks somewhere else...
-
Meh, I'm not impressed. I liked it before.
-
Surely there are news stories. I'm with NYUK on this one. BS until proof.
-
So you're saying Mat Shearer will be there again?
-
Sweet! Here's a little suggestion that caught my eye immediately. In your description you say "you will receive exactly what is in this picture", except you have different configurations, and a different tester in the picture when it's installed on the bike. Just giving you a heads up, as someone is bound to file a dispute because their tester wasn't the same length as the one in the picture. Sometimes eBay people are assholes.

I honestly can not think of a time in my 25+ years of going to glamis, that I have seen a real RACE at the gecko drags. We are the the "drags" pretty much every evening out there. Calling it the "drags" came from an event called horsepower wars. Horsepower wars came about in the beginning years of the long travel cars, and the Northstar V8 days. That was the "strip" that horsepower wars used, and ever since then, it's been dubbed the "drags". Maybe 1 in 100 people that hit the drags are actually "racing". I don't know of a single person that goes to glamis with the distinct desire to do nothing but drag race. The fact is, Oldsmobile hill sucks serious ballsack for racing, since it's whooped out pretty much the entire hill, and has been for the last 5+ years. The gecko "drags" also are WAYYYYYY too rough for chassis bikes to even consider running. Come to think of it, I've never seen a chassis bike run the gecko drags. I have seen a few run Olds, but pretty much ALL of the drag racing that happens in California is at Dumont, and the majority of Dumont riders are not from California. Dumont get's the majority of it's visitors from Nevada and Utah.

You're right. I've never been to glamis. I have no idea what I see there. I just watch you-tube videos and base my opinion strictly off of those... Also, hundreds of thousands of people who go to glamis on holiday weekends. Not tens of thousands. Tens of thousands of people would get lost in 118,000 acres of sand. How many die hard Californian "drag racers" do you see on here? Maybe 3-5% of the total "drag racer" population on here? If that?
-
Christ, I hope not... Are they afraid you'll light the sand on fire?
-
Protip: 99% of Californian's couldn't give two butthole hairs for drag racing. We have the best dunes in the US... typically drag racing is the last thing on anyone's mind.

No disclaimer needed. This is a fact.

I day shipping warranty! You pay, i tomorrow send item! I bet those are TOTALLY authentic Keihins coming from Taiwan, or is it Thailand? The ad says it ships via Thailand Post, but the item is located in Taiwan... They're even made by Honda...? I so confuse

I believe since the one machine isn't working, you're going to have to remove the hard drive and install it as a secondary on a PC and copy the data, switch HD's, then paste it into the second hard drive. There might be a downloadable utility to help do it, but I think it's going to physically involve removing the hard drives. If both machines worked and turned on, you could use the method that glamis321 posted, but you're working with a single working one.

The 75w rating is the comparable halogen light output. Meaning, it's a 35w xenon bulb equivalent to a 75w halogen bulb. It only draws 35w. You got the right ones.

Limited Edition GENUINE **BHQ FLAG**
So Cal Suspension replied to So Cal Suspension's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
It's gone already. -
Here we have a limited edition, GENUINE Banshee HQ flag for sale. This very flag has passed through not ONE set of ATV miracle hands, it has passed through, TWO, yes TWO sets of hands of some of the best people in the ATV industry. It can be yours for a low price of $120.00, plus paypal fees and shipping (and handling). It is spotless. Not a stain on this beauty. It was stored in my wife's panty drawer for over 6 months, it was always kept covered, and away from moisture and light. It will not disappoint. Guaranteed to get looks at the dunes from dudes who like your whip! and your bike too! I used the twin of this flag at the famous 2011 Banshee HQ Ride. It was perched atop my suburban, and made national news. The first one to PM me will get this flag for an amazing price. Just kidding, PM me your address if you want it. I'll mail it to you.
