  1. If you only ride in dry sand, they're fine if you remove them every ride and clean the shocks... Shock covers are one of the many things that the ATV world dreamed up for no reason. The only thing they do is cover up ugly shocks and make them uglier when they rub all the powdercoat off of your springs.
  2. I'm kinda confused... Do you already have the modquad grille, and you want to somehow make it fit your maier rad cover? It's a whole 3 screws to unscrew the rad cover and see how you could make it fit. I highly doubt you're going to find someone to give you a step-by-step write up on something so simple.
  3. Yeah, I'll pass too... It's obvious it's an attempt to spam his work, but the broken English makes it hard to take it seriously.
  4. You will probably find someone with a faster turnaround time than I can do right now. The Baja 500 is on June 1st-3rd, so I will be completely slammed until the week after. Rebuild, revalve, and Eibach respring of the stock rear shock is $218.00 plus shipping. All parts, oil, and labor included.
  5. Eh, I don't think you really accomplished anything, honestly. Anyone who will read this thread will likely read all of the comments, and realize that this post was made lacking merit and reason.
  6. If you can get the YFZ shocks for less than $75.00, I don't think it's a BAD thing. Expect them to be soft, however. If you are over 180lbs, I wouldn't recommend them, they will be pretty squishy.
  7. If you keep them clean and DO NOT run shock covers, there's no reason a set of Works can't last 6-7 seasons between services, easy. Elka, and Axis use a different type of seal system with a separate wiper in the seal head. They tend to hold up to dirty environments better than the Works seals. Keeping either brand shock clean with extend the life dramatically.
  8. You're going to be pretty disappointed then. That shit you see on the videos almost never happens. I've been going to glamis for 26 years, and I've seen one set of tits out there outside of my own camp.
  9. Let's bring a little bit of logic to this thread. You started out this post by saying he ripped you off for $260.00. After reading the thread in the link you posted, he indeed did NOT rip you off for $260.00. He attempted to file a chargeback on his credit card, and was denied. The sale happened on May 26th, 2011. Nearly a year ago. You initiated a thread on SMD at 4:37am on August 31, 2011. You resolved the matter on August 31, 2011 at 10:07am, noting in that thread that you indeed did not lose a penny, and the money was already back in your account. (Dates and times taken from your thread on SMD) You noted that you got all your money back that day, and you were not out a penny. Nearly 8 months later, you come here starting a thread saying he ripped you off for $260.00 and you smeared his name in every one of his for sale threads, as well as in this thread. If you haven't noticed, our moderators have deleted your incessant rambling posts with dead links, leaving only this thread. Please tell me your level of obsession with this topic in order for you to be after this guy 8 months later, for doing exactly... nothing to you...? I understand that he's on here denying the fact that was him. Evidence points to the fact that it WAS indeed him. My concern is that you are so overly obsessed with this guy, that maybe your story is completely false, and you are not in fact the same person as you say you are on the SMD website. Perhaps you found that thread by googling his username. As Cruelsoul has stated, it's possible you are a member from Blasterforum attempting to smear his name for whatever reason you deem necessary. My reasoning for this point of view, is that when one googles "cruelsoul" the SMD thread is the 7th link from the top on google. I do not believe for one second that you are who you say you are. I believe you are indeed someone from blasterforum attempting a smear campaign. If I'm completely wrong, I apologize, but the evidence points to my opinion.
  10. Just FYI, these are stage 3's, not stage 4's. Stage 4's have hi/lo speed compression dampening.
  11. Oh, there probably won't be too many locals going during the week. If I do, it'll be the friday before to sunday.
  12. are you going for the whole week? I'm not sure if the majority of people are going the weekend before, or the weekend after, since halloween falls on a wednesday this year. Odds are it will be the weekend before.
  13. Moustafa Moustacha
  14. durka durka
  15. Hahahahaha someone needs to put this quote in their signature. It doesn't even make sense... :rotflmao: "son of the ape" :rotflmao: Yeah, I believe he's not using a translator now...
  16. Haha, I kinda exploded, but jesus christo! It's an obvious troll, or someone lying about using a translator. "Huge bodies with minor minds" "Like being fucked in the minds" WTF does that even mean? Moustafa is an Egyptian name. Sit on a pyramid you asshole.
  17. Listen here cocksucker. I was trying to fucking defend you. Instead, now I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and agree with everyone else that you're just fucking stupid and can't speak English worth a fuck. GTFO and take your stupid ass questions with you. Eat a dick.
  18. I've spent some time dealing with methamphetamine addicts. I counseled an addict who painted the entire underside of his Ford Windstar with nail polish. All different colors. This guy fits the bill for a meth addict. They spend most of their tweak time trying to make things better. Trying to fix things. I've never seen someone completely tear apart a brand new flat screen TV before, until I volunteered at a halfway house. One guy had the TV in his room completely disassembled with nothing but a pair of needle nose pliers and a phillips screwdriver that he stole from the work release crew in less than an hour. You'd be amazed at some of the things that meth makes people do.
  19. It took until the second page for you guys to realize he is using a translator?
  20. Haha, I was thinking the same thing. He pretty much wins this thread.
  21. You'll probably either have to find someone who is junking a frame, and have them cut them off and you re-weld them on your bike, or use a post-mount light.
  22. Works shocks are good for 90% of people. Non reservoir shocks are much cheaper to maintain, and most people wouldn't notice the difference between reservoir and non reservoir.
