  1. Had an awesome trip. Never got checked and rode smart. Dunes are unreal!!! I will make the drive again no question.....
  2. Not sure, just saw on website that Spark Arrestors are required...
  3. I am headed there on Friday for a week... Just thought about something I should have tackled months ago.......... T-5 stingers no Spark Arrestors, am I gonna have issues???
  4. Thanks. it has 165's in it now I am taking 160's and 155's.... Hopefully one of those will work.
  5. I am on the Oregon Coast. Thanks for the input guys. I am going to run straight 110 to be safe. At some point I will open it up, I am curious to see what's done to it. Thanks!
  6. Hi, I have a Banshee that I just purchased. I am trying to figure out what fuel to run through it. The previous owner ran 50/50 92 110 through it. It has T-5's 28MM Keihin and a cool head and that's about all I know about it. I decided to do a compression test tonight and it was right at 180 at sea level. I am thinking it has 19cc domes and my gut is telling me to run straight 110. Cascade in Portland did the work but unfortunately they can't tell me anything about it. I don't know if it's ported or stock bore or advanced timing. Also, I'm heading to St Anthony is a few weeks and it's going to be hot so that's making me lean towards 110 as well.. You guys agree? Thanks for any input. Mark
  7. Cool, thanks. I will call Cameron. See you sometime at the Oregon Dunes!
  8. Thanks, I am going to purchase 155's and 160's and go from there. Actually, my whole family is going. I was not aware of a group from Salem going??.. When are they going to be there? Are you going? I am from Eugene and we are heading over the week of June 25th - 29th. I was very pleased to see how easy changing jets in that bike is!!! The only other one I have jetted had stock carbs.
  9. It seemes to run good. The plugs look good as well. Last weekend was actually my first time on the bike. The guy I bought it from took it to Cascade and had them do a bunch of stuff to it. The frustrating part is, he can't tell me what was done and neither can Cascade............ So I could have a few more internal mods that I don't know about. I do know Cascade set up the jetting for him. Do you think I need to mess with the pilot jet or needle clip? Thank you very much for your input.
  10. Ok, I got the jets out and here is what I found out. I have Keihin PWK28MM carbs not stock like I thought. I was very happy to see how easy it was to change the main jets!!!!! Also, the jets in it now are 165's. I am jumping 5000' so I am thinking I drop two jet sizes. You guys agree? Also, do I need to mess with the needle clips? I would rather not if I don't need to but maybe I have to???... Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate you sharing your knowledge to a newbie. Mark
  11. Ok, thanks!! by the way, was it worth the trip?
  12. I have yet to get the bowls off so I don't know. I am basically at sea level. When I get the jet sizes out I will post them.
  13. Hello, I am heading to St. Anthony Idaho at the end of the month and am looking for some rough jetting specs. Below are the specifics on my Banshee Toomey T-5'S No airbox running 2 k&n filters w/outerwears Stock 28MM carbs Cool Head 50/50 race fuel and 92 octane mixed 40:1 Redline I believe St. Anthiony is about 5000' and the weather should be in the 80's. Thanks in advance!!!!!!
  14. Need help choosing what paddles to run. I currently have skat trak haulers 20x10x10 8 paddle. My bike is fairly stock. It has T-5 pipes, cool head, +4 swingarm, runs 50/50 92 and race fuel. Gearing is 13 front 41 rear and I weigh 285. Obviously I don't drag race with it and don't really hill shoot much either. Should I try a V paddle or stick with the hauler? What size? Is 22" to tall in an extreme??? Thanks in advance!!!
