Scott, that reminds me. I won't have be able to do your shocks out at glamis... We're gonna need the beds in the back of the trailer for some friends who are coming out, so that means my benches are staying out. If you want to bring them by, I'll get them taken care of.

OP, do yourself a favor and talk to a suspension guy of your choice and ignore everything you read in here, except for that tidbit of golden knowledge above that springer quoted. That was accurate... Valving has nothing to do with your weight. LAWL.

He had contacted me about rebuilding those shocks a while back, and I told him I would not work on them because of their condition, inability to get parts, etc. It was a liability. He sent me a message back like 5 days later telling me that he had them rebuilt by ohlins for cheaper than I would have done them for (Obviously BS, and I told him I wouldn't work on them in the first place). He mentioned in the shoutbox a while back that he just wanted to unload them and get something different. He knew what he did, and obviously was out to try to screw someone. Hopefully you get your shocks back, or if there's any way I could help you out on those shocks, let me know.

I've always had custom ones made. It may not be cheaper, but at least I can pick the line and fittings that I want, to know that it's overkill if I choose.
