Whats the best two stoke oils to run?When I use to race motocross years ago I always ran 927 @ 32 to 1.After awile, I noticed it gumed up my power valve on my CR250, so i went to Super M.Ive been running 927 @ 32 to1 in my Bnashee.Im also Mixing 112 with 91 pump fuel.So should I just stay where im at or should I ru a diff oil?I always here people say it gums everthing up etc,but I really like the smell of 927.Also would it be safe to run 40 to 1?

  5. Any gas on the spark plug?Could be a dirty jet..Also what about the Tors?Did you try unpluging the wires that go to the black tors box under the tank?
  6. Some people use RD400 rods wth blaster pistons.The rods are like 5mm longer,then bore to 66MM which make like a 370.I think you have to deck the bottom of the barrels 3mm to lower port timming.I dont think people do thIs anymore.
  7. Im at sealevel and my compression is 180 on fresh wiseco 40 over topend. 20 domes cool head with t5, 320 mains.I hear pump gas ok on 20 domes but should I run race fuel with that kind of cmpression?Sorry not trying to high jack your thread.
  8. You should beable to run pump gas on 20 domes,but check your compression first.I just did a rebild with 40 over with cool head & 20 doms.I have 180 PSI compression.So im going to run 50/50 race fuel & pump gas.I hear anything over 160 you have to.

  11. Also could be in the tors system.Unplug the wires going to the black box under tank and see what happens

  13. Im 040 on the bore.Im at sea leve.Will ride 90% of the time at Pismo Dunes..I had to rebuild cause LF Piston broke at bottom skirt.I figured it broke b/c it was ready for bore job..But maybe it was b/c of the pump fuel?

Ok should I have 180 pounds of compression on cool head with 20 doms?Just did a top end rebuild.Went out & broke the engine over the weekend.Did comprerssion test and its 180 on both cylinders.I know my gage is correct cause I use it ll the time on other motorcycles.It has the check valve right in the end & its about the same lenth as my spark plug.Beofre rebuild Ihad 150 per cylinder.Can I run pump gas?Seems to run awsome but I dont want to blow this thing up.Or should I mix 110 with 91?I read that 20s were ok to run pump gas on?

Was wondering if anyone can give me an idea on where I should be at.Im running cool head with 20 domes,T5s,Open air box,with Uni Filter.I have a mild port job aswell.My carbs are stock wih 25 low speed & 310 Mains.I will only be riding at Pismo dunes..Sea Level.When I got it it had 290 mains,but had closed air box.I jst did a top end 40 over.

He guys I have a 2000 Banshee.I just rebuilt motor.Left side piston broke and had to split cases etc.So anyways new bore new top end.Problem is my clutch is slipping real bad.I have a brand new barnett clutch and basket.The peron I got it from had just put it in new,he thought that was the problem but it was a busted piston.Took it out yesterday and just rode it easy to break in engine.I noticed the clutch was slipping a bit.I took it out today and got on it a bit and can really feel it sleeping now.Could this just be adjustment on the pancake?I have plenty of andjustment on clutch lever.I have enough play but it wants to relase when its almost all the way out.Im running ATF trype F.Any ideas?Maybe clutch springs?

Hey guys I just did a top end on my 2000 Banshee.I did a leak down test, & my left side seal is leaking behind stator.Can the crank seals be changed with out splitting cases?I know the seal have a lip on top of them that fits into the cases.So is it even possible to replace with out splitting?
  24. He is comparing bottom end from a CR250 that has a power valve.So compared to that a Banshee has no bottom end.Really there just two 175 engines.So no your not going to have alot of bottom end.You ever ride a 125 2-Stroke?You got to keep them reved to the moon to make power.
