Drag hoods Clear and White

JayCLL had a good question, what do they weigh? They weigh 1.2 pounds. That white powder in that scale pic is caustic by the way :-) -
I have 3 clear and one flat white hoods. These will NOT bolt up to a stock banshee. If you want to use them on a stock banshee you will need to lower the radiator a couple inches. Its easy making a couple brackets to do so. These are made of a thinner plastic than something like a fulbore so they don't weigh hardly anything. They look bad ass. Clear are $225 and the white is $200 shipped. If interested pm me your number so we can talk to make sure you know what you're getting.

Yea right, if I ask one of my friends to get down there and suck on my hose til the fluid came out they would say FU. I'm spending forty bucks.

F.A.S.T. CLUTCH VS TUSK CLUTCH COMPARISON
Rotax Raptor replied to FASTOYS's topic in Product Reviews
Ive ran just about all aftermarket clutches you can find and the FAST clutch has been the best so far. I ran the same FAST clutch in my 10 mil drag bike all this past seaon. A shit pot full of passes. Worth the money for sure. -
If I could think of a solution I would throw it out here. That's why I started this thread to do some brainstorming. Tyler I knew you where going to luv me for it. It's not only the fucked up sellers, but we have cocksuckers that are buying (scamming) and fucking up our paypal accounts. Unless I know you, I'll buy new parts. As far as selling, craigslist, friends or keep it. Or, I can choose if someone has enough post or has been a premium member long enough and as good feedback before I sell to them. Maybe that would be a good way to help weed the douche bag buyer out, require them to be a premium member before we do a transaction with them. At least we knew they paid a little to fuck us.

Thats a good one Matt. It's a good thing you kept the info to prove he was a scammer. With paypal being such a prick and siding with very little information regarding the truth, I'm ready to start doing money orders on both sides of transactions. I sold this douche a PVL and got stung. He claimed it was broken when infact called me 5 times having me help him get the timing right. Paypal refunded him and when he sent it back the flywheel it was beat to shit from him taking it off. I agree, there are issues with both buyers and sellers.

What the hell is going on here lately. Seems more times than not, you get on here and find a pissed off buyer. Are people just selling junk, not shipping quick enough or are peoples expectations becoming higher. I know that my expectations of "like new" may be a little different than someone elses. Unless people start micing cranks, cylinders and proving the actual condition of a part, there will always be the potential for conflict. From the sellers side of this, a used part is used. If you expect a new condition part that is used, there's a very big chance of a conflict before it's all said and done. I wish we had a way to "certify" parts before we buy or sell them to prevent problems, but we don't. I have two drag motors that I am going to sell that are both great motors, but there's no way I would list them on here as complete running motors. I'm planning on tearing them down and parting them out. Example, motor ran great for me, I had the carbs set up right and now someone buys it at a different elevation and doesn't set it up right and leans it out. His error or lack of tuning knowledge, and I'm the bad guy. Another example, You sell a motor and 3 months later you get the call and are told they just started messing with the motor and found something wrong. Did it sit on the shelf for 3 months or did it go in a bike right away and it shot craps. If we buy used parts there is some risk involved in doing so. Otherwise, buy new at the new part price. Just throwing this out for discussion.

Wheresdahoesatracing is a friend of mine and I can assure you he wouldn't fuck over anyone. Sounds like he made a shipping mistake and is trying to get the right part to the right person. This is one of those times where it will all work out and everyone's happy.

what kind if cylinders are these?
Rotax Raptor replied to bansheefromhell's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Look at the top of the head and see if it says rotax. I know rotax had a purple head like that on their motors. -
Where are you located?

Here is a white one plain..

I'm getting the flames air brushed from the inside to match the frame color and leave the rest clear. It's kind of hard to see but it has my number on the front that will be painted. 2C I'm still working out pricing but it looks like around $220 for the clear and $190 for the white. That is with no designs on it, just plain. They should be available within the next two weeks.

I'm getting some if these made. I have white and clear ordered. They can do different colors I'll check on black. They are made from 18mil plastic and don't weigh much at all. We use them on drag bikes. I'll get better pictures when they arive. Price is pretty reasonable too. Pm me if interested.
