  6. I think I posted this same thing back in like NOV2009???
  7. Thanks I just wasted 5min of my life I can never get back - dont even click on the link guys it's about the dumbest shit I've seen on youtube. Somebody please remove this post from the Humor area.
  8. What state you in up north? I came from wis originally - heading back for a few days next week. When I was stationed out west I took an old lake racer out to the sierra mountains where I was permanet personnel instructor for high altitude cold weather survival (Mountain warfare training center) - Polaris Storm 800 -those guys out there never seen any thing like that 121in track etc....

  9. Jacksonvilee / Richlands area NC 28540
  10. The ol' Polaris RXL - Nice sled man. Haven't seen one in awhile that was a 650 wasn't it?

  11. Looking for an oversized radiator someone might have that is looking to get rid of. Aluminium - oversized, must fit OEM mounts, etc
  12. Lookin for a rolling chassis from a Yamaha Blaster - also if any one has a CR85 or YZ85 motor out there [email protected] Ryan
  13. So there I was.....having a few frosty adult beverages reading GrMeyer's post - I'm gonna give it a shot and run some ATF - (not cause you "said so" but because what you said ) got me thinking - Two things - 1st you have alot of 10w40....that made me think -we are the opposite here in my shop, I have alot of ATF type F. - 2nd it makes sense - I run amsoil ATF type F in my 7 yearolds KTM SX tranny and change it every weekend after racing. Honestly we could probably go longer but I'm just wierd like that and do it out of habit not to mention the cost is low when on board as a snonsored rider. That bike has a wet clutch but sees much more abuse than a Banshee tranny will ever think of - from a little guy "bliping" the throttle as a rookie, to the motor running flat out at 14,000 RPM in dead summer heat w/ 100 degrees outside. The ATF holds up better than anything we have found. Thanks for the backhand to the skull piece -GrMeyer - I'll let ya know how it comes out for me on this side.....
  14. lol Nice Nice - I's gots to go crack a foty now an gets my gold teef floatin fo-sho yo
  15. So I'm thinking his front end might have some alignment issues after that.
  16. Has it been sitting ahwile? Pull them float bowls back off and take out your pilot jets and clean them maybe - as long as your in there clean up the mains too. As far as the choke goes are the tubes/fuel circut clear of crud? Brass & rubber one.
  17. DG, I run AMSoil Dominator @ 40:1 w/100 octane and have great results, wouldn't run anything different. Nice chocolate brown / tanish plug. I have ran it at 50:1 too and it ran fine never looked at the plug though. We also run it in a Polaris Preddy90 with heavy race mods, ported 106cc & much more @ 40:1 A 2003 YZ85 stock class @ 40:1 A 2009 KTM50 SX @ 50:1 - I would even strech the KTM out to 60:1 with no worries but its running great just as it is now.
  18. packards? couldn't find any info on them.......
  19. In most applications - it’s a trade off, dont forget about your clutch. I've seen guys try to run everything form ATF to Gear oil to Engine oil - the weight of the oil of these different types doesnt always mean they have the same viscoisty level. An 80 to 85 "gear oil" will have near the same viscosity index rating as a 30w engine oil. I.E. It's tempting to use a light medium gear oil such as Amsoil MTF (at 9.6 cSt, but GL-4 protection), which would be great for power to the ground and gear protection - but NOT great for the wet clutch. Amsoil MCF 10W-40 will work fine and is compatible with the clutch.
  20. This is an old post but wanted to see what you guys take was - Power Jet or Dial a Jet? which is better? and is it even worth the time on 30mm D-slide carbs?
  21. Your right on the money boss - take TwistedShee & GRMeyer's advice, all on point. If you have the idle kit the step by step should have came with it but here is a link with free directions & further tech support if needed....... http://www.toomey.com/
  22. I've seen these little wreckers in action when I was over there in mainland awhile back - pretty cool but looked like it was rough on the bike's tranny
  23. Alright guys better get yours on order for your wives / girlfriends for Christmas...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bq9993iJlYU
