On your exhaust, if your springs are all there and not broke or stretched, you should be good.... and on the exhaust gasket, it is actually an oring that you will need to replace... Once you remove the pipe, you will see the o/ring on the inside lip of the pipe..... And, like what was said on the rings, just do an annual compressin check, will let you know how good your rings are...............

Theres usually flywheels on ebay, if you can sort thru them and get a good one..... and I was asking Jeff at F.A.S.T. awhile back, who has the best stator setups..... He said hes had the best luck with the oem yamaha stators.....and if your use to dealing with him, He can probably get u a good price on your stator........

Im with AKHEATHEN, your jetting could be off, not causing it to pull hard in the upper gears.... Also, depending on how much port work you have, those carbs are just a bit, on the big side, especially in hard pulling sand..... Which can make it hard to keep it up in the power band.... But, if your going 4mill, stock cylinder, those carbs would be perfect for that combinantion........imo

Not trying to be rude, but thats the funniest shit ive seen in awhile.... Im still laughing about it!!!

When i was having my bike dyno"d last year in oklahoma, i watched two different 4mill, stock cyinders, With dune/ drag ports, done by Jeff at F.A.S.T. ( FARMAND SAND TOYS) get dynoed..... They both spun the rollers on the dyno to 80horsepower..... One bike had cpi pipes and the other ran shearer pipes....... Both had 35mm carbs, one had mikuni's, the other had pwk's.... I would'nt of believed it until i sat there and watched it..... They sounded awesome...... Those bikes easily handled the yfz 450s and the 450r''s out on the drag strip...... The only 450s you have to watch out for when you go 4mill, are the ones on nitrous and turboed....... Im with the other guys, if you still trail ride, a good 4mill, done by the builders on this site, will be all you need, and it will still be very reliable to you out on the trails!!

One more thing.... Since you say were not trying to help you out..... you will notice on this site, several banshees bein parted out... A running banshee aint bringn crap these days, but, once you start pulling them apart, you will start sparking allot of interest.... Especially with a clean bike.... Example== I just saw a 2003 limited editon banshee get parted on ebay.... Clean bike, very comparable to yours, with about the same bolt ons..... He listed every individual part on that bike, and I added up what he would get once all the parts were gone, and it came up to $4000.... and of three days ago, he has very very few parts left.......... Just a thot for you..... Thats kinda of the trend these days, to get the most out of your bike..... Just look around this site.......

I dont think everyone is trying to" hate" on you, there just being realistic.... Theres guys on here with ten 10 to 12 grand in their banshees, and they make yours look worn out.... and they cant get a bite for 4grand................ Its just a tough tough economy right now, and the people on this site know what bikes are worth, and your dealing with a tough, wise, educated crowd.... IF you truly believe your bike will bring that, your going to have to take your chances on ebay or craigslist........ and hope you find a newbie.... Goodluck

I think I gave $2950 for my 2004, and it had a fresh engine, port job, new swingarm, and almost every chrome cover and part you can purchase for a bike.... Thats kind of how i got into banshees.... The market has just went to crap the last two years..... But, i will be a rich man if you get 5g's out of your bike!!!

Good Question... How does it hold up to a 421, non drag ported cub on race fuel.... I've heard of some people running dune/drag ported, 4mills, that run with or will out run, a 421 unported cub.... just curious, theres got to be some guys looking at this that should know... I havent got to drag race my 421cub yet, so yeah, id like to know......

Have these parts forsale.... They were used to break in my new F.A.S.T. 4MM...... Have one hour use on them...The carbs are rebuilt, by JEFF at F.A.S.T. with A new T.O.R.S. KIT, idle screws and throttle cable.... They are stock Mikuni 26mm.... Cable is still attached... They are synched and tuned, by Jeff... Just bolt them on and Go...... $125plus shipping.........
