  14. i really think i would really be leaning towards an air leak i think the jetting is compensating for the leak i would go for that leakdown test it is really important wouldnt want to burn her down
  15. i use bar B-Q grill paint skuff up the pipe lightly with sandpaper then warm it up real good with a torch or somthing get it hot not so hot that you cant touch it but almost then spray it do like 3 coats after it drys real good it looks all dull duff it up with a soft cloth and it will shine up nicely goodluck man
  16. i got a tm design works slide and roller kit and it is awsome you dont have to take the swinger off to put it on. This roller slide and glide kit is awsome
  17. could very well be an air leak and its not transfuring the fuel check your reeds for broken or chipped ones do a compression test and do a leakdown test to check for air leaks
  18. i would try doing a leakdown on it to could still be an air leak and the jetting is covering it up
  19. sounds like it could be burning anifreeze on the rt side i would first do a compression test. then i would do a leakdown test and take a look at the spark plugs and see what they look like what color is it burning
  20. first things first you need the 3 basic things to run a motor compression fuel and fire so i would start from there does this machine still have the tors unit still on the carbs if so i would look at that parking brake switch or it could have an air leak. an air leak would make it get hot and i would bet thats what could be wrong the more i think about it read up on leakdown tests and do that to lut us know how you make out
  21. sounds like mabee you dont have your slides in right first make sure the beveled side of the slide is facing the air box side of the carb and make sure the hole in the top of the carb isnt covered by the cable holder if it is then turn the holder around
  22. tors are junk do yourself a huge favor and get a tors removal kit. Much easyer to work with
  23. did u do a leakdown test on it and do you still have your tors on there a leakdown is very important i made my own leakdown tester and it is realy easy there is a good how to on here for building and testing
  24. sounds like it could be an air leak mabee u should do a compression test and a leakdown test and start from there
  25. well start with the easy stuff first the big thing on the banshee it to get rid of the TORS thats the big ugly boxes on the top of the carbs. most likly thats the problem do a compression test and make sure your carbs are syncronized also tell us more about your bike pipes air box is it stock or ??
