    You will be just fine on tight mx track ect everyone runs there extended axles in so the front is actually wider makes bike easier to corner and turn.

    Springers all day unless you are a factory rider w a experianced shock guy dialing you in every ride they are the biggest pain to set up and very tempermental i have rode them all and nothing compares to an axis ride. Only benefit to floats or any air shock is the weight differences. If i was a strictly drag racer id use for light weight and smooth ride.
