  1. at the clutch lever the cable is almost all the way out, is it possible the cable is stretched? Also, i diddnt know the adjustment on the case was just to give an idea, i thought it would be dead nuts with those arrows pointing at eachother lol, guess not, good to know.
  2. if you are talking about the rubber exhaust clamps that go from the head pipe to the stingers, then, yeah you need those. that would be you exhaust leak, rectify the exhaust leaks. also, put fresh gas in it and clean the carbs, its been sitting for a year.
  3. Its called champfer when they smooth out the port edges. if the exhaust side of the piston is damaged its most likely from an air leak causing it to run lean, probably crank seals if the motor is older and they are the originals. I just had the same issue with the exhaust sides smoked and the crank seals were leaking. either way no air leak is good, check all seals including reed gaskets. Hope this helps.
  4. Hi guys, I have a issue that has been bothering me. When im in neutral idling and i pull the clutch and pop it in gear the bike jerks and it is hard to idle. This is odd to me since i just replaced the clutch and adjusted the arm with the 2 arrows on the case and adjusted the cable, but it still does it.... I use 10w40 atv oil and change it regularly. does anyone have any ideas why this is still happening? I just rebuilt the whole motor and the bike is immaculate right now but the damn clutch is still doing that. It is rideable because when i stop i pop it in neutral and once the engine warms up it will idle in gear but it is still grabbing.. Thanks for any input

  7. I gotta be honest dude, its gonna be real hard to trade fattys for T5's or 6's. no offensce at all, its just that toomeys are a way better pipe and people arent gonna want to trade for an inferior pipe

    Ok guys, i really need a flywheel. I accidentally bent mine doing the timing upgrade like a dumb ass I would prefer a lightened one but i will take a stocker. I dont care I just need this bitch running. All I ask is that its straight and not fucked up. Please let me know what you have, i use paypal so payment will be instant. Help a fellow BHQer out!   16. dude i tried calling and some chick picked up, wrong number, i asked for shane too. anyways, how much to ship an airbox to 07026? does it have the K/N filter flange and are all the clips intact?
  17. X2 on that question. also, has anyone pointed a laser temp guage to the outer hose (coolant going into the engine from the rad) to see the difference in temp between a stock rad? I think that would be a good way to test there claim of "lower temps" what do u guys think?

  20. Hello Gents, I have a set of toomey T4 pipes i'd like to get rid of, they are in excellent shape, no dents, holes or rust. They are painted with high temp flat black paint. I got them about a year ago from "bad350shee" (troy) But i now have a set of T5's on my bike. The T4's are an older style pipe but they are a great upgrade from stock, lets be honest anything is better than stock pipes. i would like to trade for an adjustable timing plate or billet water pump impeller if someone has one, Let me know what you have. I will also sell them if someone wants, just shoot me an offer. Here are some pics of the pipes, last one is on the bike.   21. Hi, I have a set of VF2's on my bike, can I ask why you would want to trade for VF2's?
  22. would you be interested in trading them for a set of clean Toomey T4's? they are older pipes but anything is better than stock
