  3. -pancake bearing is old style one that you need to take the pressure plate off to adjust - 25.00 - 20cc domes by modquad brand new never used - 35.00 - 3 new OEM clutch springs 10.00 (prices are shipped) pm me for pics

  5. wat do you mean by loosen up the adjustment on the perch?? like screw the adjuster in to loosen/put slack on the lever or loosen/screw the adjuster out (counter clockwise) and take out all slack off the lever

  11. hey everyone i was wondering if anyone here knows the squish on these cool heads? do they run different squish numbers for different domes? Im looking into 21 or 22 cc domes... Also, when doing a compression test should i add 5 psi to what ever the gauge reads? I was told to do this because the compression tester doesnt thread into the combustion chamber as far in as the spark plug does.. So if my gauge reads 160 psi its really 165 psi when the spark plug is put on because of the volume it takes up (making the combustion chamber a couple of cc less.

Pull the carb tops off by taking the 2 screws up top off pull out the slide, connected to the spring and carb top pull the spring out and hold with one hand or have someone lift and hold it to the side use needle nose pliers to pull the plastic green thing upwards (you can grab it by a little tab pointing up) take off the 2 phillips screws im running 30 pilots at 3 turns and it feels rich (but ive never tried 27.5) up top im running 280 and it runs fine but im going to try 300 soon needle on mine is middle position slide, nozzle, everything else is the same. i have pro circuits, and uni filter
  16. can anyone help me? is this something that will go away as the clutch wears out? Or is it something i just have to live with?
  17. find out if its rich at idle, 1/2 throttle, or full throttle idle- adjust air screws 1/2 throttle - adjust needle height/clip WOT- change the jet your probably rich at idle or 1/2 i would think but not sure. what tyep of fuel and oil mix are you doing?
  18. by creeping heres what i mean- sometimes it will just stay there but its really hard to get it in neutral. Also, i know its trying to move forward because it wont roll back and im on an incline.. sometimes it will roll forward (maybe 1-2 mph)... sometimes it will move slightly if i rev the shit out of it...
  19. guys can it be the clutch cable? this is the only thing that isnt new i adjusted the clutch so that the arrows line up and it made the problem WORSE I adjusted it the other way so that the lever was more to the stator side and saw that the clutch was going to slip really bad (as i was tightening the 6 springs). So then i adjusted it the other way a little, just so that it didnt slip. When i put everything back together - IT STILL CREEPS FORWARD!!!!!! it doesnt stop doing it even if i take out all the slack in the perch.. WTF?? i got a new basket, inner hub, pressure plate, yzf1000 clutch, pancake bearing, ball, rod, 10-40 castrol gtx oil
